If there was one thing Dean was, he was confident. That's why when it came to [name], he was never shy to tell him how he felt. He was always flirting with him, always sleeping in the same bed with him and sometimes they even had sex. Dean thought they were perfect for each other.
Unfortunately, [name] was stubborn as all hell and thought they should just stay friends who occasionally hooked up. He thought it would be too dangerous if they got together and in some ways he was right but Dean had decided that life was to short and he didn't want to waste any time. He wanted [name].
They had known each other for a couple years now, having met when they both were on the same hunt. A werewolf that had been killing people. The longer they were together, the more Dean fell for him. They kept hunting together after that and it eventually led to Dean having his first sexual experience with a guy. It had been fucking amazing.
"You know, you are looking extra gorgeous today." Dean smirked, the first thing he said when [name] woke up.
The man looked at Dean through narrowed eyes, hair messy as hell, eyes tired and clothes dishevelled but even through all this Dean thought he looked amazing. "It's to early for this."
"It's never to early to appreciate you." Sure, he was cheesy but he knew [name] liked it, even if he denied it all the time.
He huffed and started to make his way to the bathroom, "I'm going to have a shower."
"Want some company?" Dean asked but the only response he got was the bathroom door closing. He laughed and looked back down at the newspaper he was researching. They were on another case together. John had met [name] and had made the decision he was a good hunter, so he had no problem if Dean went off with him.
He didn't know about Dean's feeling though. If he did, Dean knew he wouldn't let them hunt together anymore. Not because they were both males but because a hunter can't have distractions. So, Dean kept his mouth shut.

They started off their day by interviewing a few witnesses. They didn't find out much, except that the victims were all male. "What do you think it could be?" Dean asked before taking a bite of his burger.
They were at the local diner, taking a break. [name] shrugged. "I don't know. We haven't got much to go on, except the gender. It could literally be anything."
"Well, you know I don't have to go back to dad for another couple weeks and I think we should be done with the case soon, so... wanna stay together when we finish?"
[name] was quiet for a bit, looking down at his food. "And what exactly would we do until you had to go back?"
"Anything you want. Go to some bars, take some vacation time... have amazing sex." Dean grinned, bumping his foot into the other males, really hoping he would just accept and say yes.
"I don't know Dean. I mean, I am a pretty busy man." He replied with a slight teasing tone. "I mean, I would have to cancel all of my plans."
"I'm sure you would have a lot more fun with me. I mean, c'mon, can you really say no to this face." At this Dean pouted his lips and leaned forward, giving what could only be called as puppy eyes.
[name] shook his head and thought for a couple seconds. He really didn't have anything better to do. "Sure. Why not?" Dean cheered, making [name] roll his eyes at the big idiot. It was still cute though.

Turns out, the case wasn't as easy as they originally thought. Turns out, it was a vampire and this son of a bitch was hard to kill. "Dean! Watch out!" He shouted as Dean was tackled to the ground, about to be stabbed.
[name] brought out his gun and shot the bullets, stunning the vampire for a couple seconds, enough time for Dean to get the upper hand and throw the thing off. It took them quite a bit but finally they killed it. All thanks to [name]. If it wasn't for him, Dean would have been killed.
"What were you thinking!? You're so cocky! You could have gotten yourself killed, you idiot!" He yelled as the pair walked out of the building.
"I would have been fine." Dean laughed it off. "I'm a lot harder to kill than that."
"No you aren't. If I wasn't there you would have died and than what? I would have just lost another person. You can't just die on me after you make me fall for you, dumbass!"
He was yelling the whole time and Dean heard him clear as day, a smile spreading across his lips.
"...are you smiling? What? Do you think this is funny? Do you find me being in distress funny?"
"No. I find you finally admitting that you have feelings for me very smile inducing." Dean said.
[name] seemed to freeze, not realising he had actually said that. He wanted to just run away and hide in a corner. He hadn't meant to say that and Dean had never meant to find out but it seemed him and his bag mouth his ruined that plan. "Just forget I said anything." He mumbled and tried to walk away.
Dean was quick to stop him and spun him around. "If you think I'm ever going to let you go now, than you're insane."
"This wouldn't work. We're both hunters-"
"Exactly! That's why we should be together as much as we possible can. I want to be with you... I freaking love you and if I spend the rest of my life not knowing what it's like to be with you than it'll be my biggest regret. So please, just give me a chance. Give us a chance."
Of course [name] was hesitant. What Dean was saying was very convincing but on the other hand, [name] was pretty convinced by his own reasons as well. "I don't know..."
Dean frowned before slowly putting his hands on the other man's cheeks and leaning in. "Look me in the eyes and tell me you don't want this and I promise I'll leave you alone."
"I can't do that." He whispered. "You're an idiot, you know that?"
"Yeah. I get told a lot." Dean laughed before finally leaning down and kissing him. "So, What do you say? Want to be my boyfriend?"
"...yeah. I'd really like that."
"Finally."
