All he had wanted was to get some sleep. His day had been long and hard, with having to protect Elena and everything. His eyes were heavy and he could feel his breathing slow. He breathed out a heavy sigh when he felt the bed dip, knowing exactly who it was. "What do you want Katherine?" He asked without even opening his eyes.
"What? I can't spend some time with my favourite Salvatore?" She replied with a pout, leaning up to place a hand on his exposed chest.
He narrowly opened his eyes, seeing she was half naked, wearing one his his shirts that was slowly slipping down her shoulder. "I'm your favourite? That's funny. We all know it's hero hair Stefan so don't even try that on me."
"Well, you're wrong because he isn't my favourite. I might have spent the most time with him in 1864 but that was only because he was always following me around like a lost puppy while you were on with some other girl. That hurt [name]." She rolled her eyes. "Why are you so mean to me?"
"Well, you ended up killing every girl I had ever been with, compelled me to be with you while also using my brothers and your the reason I'm spending eternity like this. I have a right to be mean to you."
"I only compelled you after you found out I was a vampire and freaked out on me. Before that it was all you and as I remember it, you told me you loved me on many occasions. Feelings like that just don't disappear."
"Yeah. They do. It's been over one hundred years Katherine. I don't love you anymore and I never will." He said harshly, not caring if he hurt her feelings. Not after everything she had done to him.
She huffed and pulled herself up to straddle his waist. "Can you really deny me?"
He leaned up, giving her the thought that maybe he was falling for her charms but before their lips could actually touch, he laughed and brought his hands to her hips, picking her up and putting her on the bed beside him. "You'd be surprised how easy it is." He stood up and threw a shirt over his head.
"Where are you going?" She got on her knees and crossed her arms in anger. She had really thought she could get [name] to fall for her again and she had been trying so hard. He just kept rejecting her and she didn't know what else to do. She wanted him back, even if it meant becoming one of the good guys.
"I'm going to some random bar, far away where you can't find me where I'm going to get drunk off my ass and take someone home with me." He smirked at her when she glared at him in jealousy. "And the best part is you can't do anything about it. Have fun alone Katherine but when I get back, I expect you gone from my room and hopefully my house as well."
He left the room and it took Katherine everything in her not to rush after him. She had to spend some time alone to think about what she could do to prove she was here for him and not anything else. It was going to be hard though. He didn't trust her and thought she was either here for Stefan or up to something bad and just using him.
Well... he was only half right. She did want him back but there was also a little moonstone she needed as well and if she got both of them, she would just be one lucky woman.
