He was a new student to the class trying to assassinate their teacher. He was sent here because of how rebellious he had been and the teachers didn't want to deal with him anymore. He couldn't say he blamed them. He was a dick and proud of it.

He stood in front of the class, a lazy smile on his face and his hands tucked into his pockets. "Class, this is our new student, [name]. I hope you do all you can to make him feel welcome and," Koro-sensei turned to him, "good luck in killing me. Take your seat."

His smile dropped and he looked at the teacher seriously. "I will kill you. I don't need any luck." He threatened before smiling again and casually walking to his chair, plopping himself down and putting his hands behind his head. This year was going to be incredible.

He made friends quickly. One of them being Karma Akabane. They were so alike and anyone would mistake them for being brothers. They were attached to each other's side and always planning their next attack on the teacher... that would always inevitably fail but [name] was persistent and he wasn't giving up until he was the one who killed Koro-sensei and received the award money.

He was currently in gym class and he was running laps around the field, not once getting tired. He had a lot of energy to burn. Karma was close behind him and the two started a race, pushing themselves until their body burned.

As they reached the finish line [name] jumped up and down with a cheer. "Ha! I win loser!" Karma punched him in the arm to get him to shut up. "Don't be a sore loser... loser!"

"Uh, good job [name]. I saw you back there. You were so fast." One of his classmates spoke and he turned around to face the shy looking girl. "Congratulations."

"Thanks Nagisa." He responded before turning back to Karma with a triumphant smirk, chanting the word loser over and over again. Gym class finished and the two friends walked ahead towards the classroom. "That girl from earlier is so cute."

Karma looked at him confused. "When did you talk to a girl?"

"What do you mean? You were right there when I did. Are you crazy?" He furrowed his eyebrows. "Nagisa. The girl with the blue hair. The one that congratulated me for winning the race."

Suddenly, Karma laughed out loud, clutching his stomach. "Oh, my god." He gasped out, continuing on his laughing fit.

[name] was getting more and more annoyed. He was this close to shoving his hand over his best friends mouth to shut him up. "Want to tell me what's so funny or are you going to continue acting like an idiot?" He crossed his arms as they entered the classroom. They were the first ones there so it was just the two.

Karma roughly patted him on the back. "That cute girl you were talking about? Isn't even a girl. Nagisa is a boy." He moved past a shocked [name] and sat down at his desk.

"Wait, what? Are you sure?" He sat down at his desk as well. "Like, one hundred percent sure?" Karma nodded his head. "Am I the only one that thought she- he was a girl?"

"Na. Some people mistake it. He's used to it." Karma shrugged. People began to fill the classroom and [name] looked at the door, seeing the blue haired male enter. Now that he looked a little bit more closely he could see the boyish features of Nagisa.

His eyes widened when he realised that the previous time he had talked to Nagisa he had referred to him as a girl. Nagisa hadn't said anything to him about it. He was probably embarrassed.

Oh, now [name] felt guilty.

When class was done for the day, [name] waited outside the room for Nagisa. When the blue haired male left, he quickly caught up to him and grabbed his arm, stopping him in his track. "Hey! Can we talk for a second?"

Nagisa nodded with a kind smile and the two moved to the side so they weren't in anyone's way. "What's up?" He questioned.

"I, uh, I just wanted to apologise." He said and Nagisa looked at him in confusion. "I mean... for calling you a girl. I really had no idea that you were a boy until Karma told me." His eyes looked guilty. "And you never said anything."

"Yeah... um, it's okay. People think I'm a girl all the time." Every time Nagisa would try to correct him, [name] would end up talking over him. He knew he didn't mean it in a rude way, [name] was just a loud person and liked to hear himself talk. Nagisa was more than fine being the listener. "Knowing I'm a boy doesn't change how you think of me, does it?"

"What? Of course not. I like you for your personality, not because of your gender." He blushed when he realised how that sounded. "Like you as a friend." That was a lie.

"Like me as a friend?" Nagisa said dejectedly. "Right." He cleared his throat. "I should go. I-I'll see you tomorrow." He rushed off, eyes glued to the floor.

Karma came walking around from where he was hiding and shook his head in disappointment. "Seriously? That was the perfect opportunity to tell him you liked him and instead you stutter and hide like a coward. Now who's the loser?"

"Why am I even friends with you?" He replied with a frown. He groaned out and hit his head on the wall behind him. "God, that was the perfect opportunity! What is wrong with me?"

"You're an idiot. It's okay. A lot of people are." Karma put his hand on his shoulder and faked sympathy. "Just accept the fact that you're destined to be alone forever and ever." He dodged [name] as he tried to hit him. "Missed me!"

"You're such a dick!"

"Takes one to know one!"

He was going to prove Karma wrong. He wasn't going to spend the rest of his life alone. Hell, he wasn't going to spend the rest of the week alone because tomorrow, he would tell Nagisa, the boy, how he felt and they would live happily ever after... hopefully.
