"He is literally so cute." Mona said with a dreamy smile as she stared at the boy across the room. "Someone's shouldn't be allowed to be that cute. How am I supposed to concentrate?"
Hanna frowned and narrowed her eyes as she noticed who Mona was talking about. "You know, I heard he had a girlfriend."
"Who cares? I have to at least try." Mona picked up her makeup mirror and fixed her lipstick. "Wish me luck." She stood up and strutted over to the boy. Her dreamy smile turning into a seductive smirk.
"You've got to be kidding me." Hanna leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms, glaring at her friend. "She really can't take a hint."
"Um, why is Mona talking to [name]?" Aria asked in a whisper, coming to sit next to a blonde. "Is she... flirting with him?" She watched as Mona put a hand on his arm and leaned close laughing.
"What was I supposed to say to stop her? You can't flirt with him because he's dating me and Aria? Oh, wait, I can't tell her that because we can't come out dating because you're afraid of what people will think." Hanna snapped at her, on edge from seeing what Mona was doing.
Aria scoffed at her. "The only reason I think we should keep it a secret is because then A can't use him against us. Why do you have to have such a problem with it?"
"You're really asking me that? Look across the room Aria! Our boyfriend is being hit on by one of my friends and I can't do anything about it. A is going to find out sooner or later. They wouldn't have any ammunition against us if people already knew." Hanna stood up harshly, roughly grabbing her food tray. "I can't watch this anymore."
She walked away, throwing the rest of her food out.
Aria pursed her lips and looked back at the two. [name] looked uncomfortable and was leaning away from the girl. He caught Aria's eyes from across the room and sent her a look for help.
She stood up and made her way over. "Hey guys." She said cheerfully. Mona looked at her annoyed while [name] looked at her relieved. "Sorry Mona. Would I be able to borrow him? We're working on a project together."
Before Mona could reply he did, "bye Mona!" He followed closely behind Aria as they left the cafeteria. "Thank you. She was about to ask me out and I had a feeling if I said no, she was going to throw her drink on me."
Aria hummed.
He raised his eyebrows at her. "Are you okay?"
Aria stopped walking and looked around before grabbing his arm and pulling him into an empty classroom. She made sure to shut the curtain of the door before turning to him. "We need to talk."
"Oh no. You sound like you're about to break up with me." He pouted and wrapped his arms around her waist, smirking at her charmingly. "I would much rather make out." He leaned forward and kissed her.
