Scott stood inside his ex boyfriends room, arms crossed as he waited for the other male to come back into the room. Scott had decided that he wasn't going to be a coward anymore and he was going to tell [name] that he was still in love with him and wanted to get back together. He had his fingers crossed that [name] would feel the same way.
Speaking of, he had just walked back into the room with the drink Scott had asked for. He wasn't actually thirsty, just needed some alone time to gather his thoughts. "Here you go." He took the drink and stared down at it. "So, why exactly is Scott McCall standing in my bedroom?"
"Um, I've been thinking a lot these past couple days." He put the cold drink down and felt his throat tighten. "This is weird. I've never been nervous to talk to you before."
"Nervous? Why are you nervous to talk to me? We've known each other for years."
"Well, it's just, these past couples weeks... you're the only thing I've been able to think about. When we broke up, it killed me and I thought I would be able to move on but I can't. I fall more in love with you every day, which I didn't even think was possible and I just think we should give us another go. I know we're right for each other."
[name] was frozen in shock, having stared at his ex with his mouth propped open, not sure if he was hearing this right. "Wait, what? You want to get back together. Dick! You broke up with me! And now you just expect for me to give you another chance? Are you crazy?"
"Maybe a little bit." Scott laughed nervously. "I know I am a complete idiot and breaking up with you was the worse thing I could have ever done. I miss you so much and if I could go back in time I would take it back."
"You can't go back in time and I can't forget that you broke my heart. How am I supposed to trust you again? What if you decide you don't want to be together anymore and dump me again?"
"I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't be here saying these things if I wasn't a thousand percent sure that this is what I wanted. That you're everything I want and I will spend every day after today proving that to you because you are worth it." Scott grabbed his hands, pleased when [name] didn't pull back. "I promise you, you won't regret it."
"I swear if I give you another chance and you break my heart again... I will never talk to you again. We won't be friends, we won't be acquaintances. You will be nothing to me so I'll ask you again. Do you really want to get back together?"
"Yes, I'm sure. I love you more than anything in this world and I know that I'm not going to hurt you. Not again."
"...fine. One more chance but since this is a new relationship. There will be many dates and a lot of making up to me before you even think of getting to first base with me again."
"I can deal with that."
