"It's so good to see you all and we're go glad you could make it to this interview." The interviewer, Ashley said excitedly, looking at each of the boys with a bright smile. Hey, an over enthusiastic happy interviewer was better than a boring one who could care less about what they were saying.
That's what [name] thought anyway. He smiled back at her and clasped his hands together nervously. Why was he nervous? Because this was the first interview they were doing since he and Michael had come out as dating.
After years of being together, romantically and in the band, they were finally allowed to come out and it was the best news he had ever heard.
He would no longer have to hide their relationship. They would be able to hold hands and kiss in public. Post Instagram pictures and be one of them disgusting cute couples with their cheesy captions. He was so excited.
So were the fans. Though the fans already shipped them previously. They were always touchy during videos and lingered gazes. They didn't purposely do it. They just weren't very good at hiding the fact they were so in love with each other.
"Thank you for having us." Luke spoke, clapping his hands together.
Ashley held a notebook in her hand, no doubt having her questions all written down and of course the first question she asked was about him and Michael. He knew he and Michael would get allot of attention but he just hoped the hype would die down soon and everything wouldn't focus so much on their relationship and more on their music that they had worked so hard on.
"We're all so happy that you two have come out and the fans seems very happy about it as well." She started. "Would you mind if I asked you a couple questions about it?"
"Of course not." Michael answered, glancing to the side at his boyfriend to make sure he was okay, knowing he wasn't the most outgoing person. [name] smiled back at him and nodded his head.
"How long have you been together for and what made you feel that now was the right time to come out?"
Michael cleared his throat and started, "we've actually been together for ages now. We officially started a couple months after the band started but we'd been friends way before that."
"Yeah. It was really annoying seeing they obviously liked each other but wouldn't tell each other." Calum said with a laugh. "Me, Luke and Ashton kept leaving them alone when we were together hoping they would just freaking get together all ready."
"Well, if worked." [name] said. "And we decided now was the right time to come out because we just weren't ready before. We wanted people to focus on our music and not that we were together but it seems we weren't very good at hiding it."
"Right. You are one of the biggest ships in the band and no one even knew you were actually dating." Ashley smiled. "But it must of been nice to receive so much support."
"Well, you know there will always be people who don't accept you and we did receive some hate but the support out weighed it by allot and we're just grateful to have such supportive and kind fans. We're not upset about the people we lost because of this. We don't want people like that to be our fans anyway."
The interview went on for a little bit longer, ninety percent of the questions being about him and Michael and ten percent about the actual music.
"Well, that was fun." Michael wrapped an arm around his shoulder as they walked out of the room and down the hall. "Wonder if next time we'll be asked about what positions we fuck in."
"C'mon babe. Everyone knows you're the bottom." [name] pinches Michael's side and the multi coloured haired male pushed him away with a huff, only for his boyfriend to drag him back into another hug. "Don't be shy."
Calum laughed, "it really isn't surprising your the bottom."
"There's nothing wrong with being the bottom. It feels fucking awesome so I'm not ashamed." Michael commented.
"Yeah. Bottoming is great." [name] said, receiving confused looks from the other. "What? Don't you know what versatile means?"
"I'm so glad we know all the details to your sex life." Ashton said sarcastically with a grimace.
"Don't pretend you don't like it."
