She ran away from him. He didn't like her. That was obvious. How could she have been so stupid to actually think he could like her back? Of course [name] didn't like her back. Why would he like someone like her when he could have literally anyone he wanted?
He was running after her, calling her name but she didn't stop. Unfortunately he was faster then her and caught up easily, grabbing her arm to spin me around. "Please stop. You can't just tell me you love me and than run away."
"I can if I want to save myself from dying of embarrassment!" She yelled back, avoiding his eyes. She'd been in love with [name] for years now. They had been friends since they were kids. She had blurted out her feelings without a second thought and he had stared at her as if she had three heads. "You don't have to pretend like you like me just to save my feelings."
"I wouldn't do that! I would never pretend to have feelings for you. I was just shocked... I mean, you've never acted like you had feelings for me before. I asked out out three years ago and you rejected me."
Selena had remembered that and every time she did, she would hate herself for telling him no. Back than she didn't want to ruin their friendship as she didn't have many true friends. She didn't realise than how much more her feelings would grow for him. "I know. I was an idiot and if I could go back to that day, I would say yes. A million times yes."
"You think I stopped having anytime of feelings for you just because three years passed? Of course I still like you. I just didn't make anymore moves because I didn't want to make you uncomfortable." He exclaimed, throwing his hands up in the air. "Seriously... you're perfect. How could I not still have feelings for you."
Selena's eyes widened and she stared at him. Her mouth not making a move to speak. She didn't know what to say. All she wanted was to run into his arms and tell him to never let her go.
"Selena..." He trailed off, walking closer to her, happy when she didn't make a move to leave him. He put his hands on her soft cheeks. "I love you. I've always loved you." He leaned down, stopping just before their lips meet. He wanted her to make the next move.
Which she did. She leaned forward and connected their lips. "I love you to."
