"Hey, [name]! Are you watching me?" Percy yelled out and the son of Zeus turned around to see Percy sword fighting with another guy. He walked closer and watched them closely and it seemed Percy was really trying to win. His mistake was when he glanced over at [name] to make sure he was watching, his two second distraction made the other guy get the upper hand and the sword flew out of Percy's hand.
"Oh, that sucks but hey, you'll get em next time." [name] smiled at him before walking away and continuing to talk to his friend.
Percy friend as he watched him walk away and huffed, looking at the other guy with narrowed eyes. "You were supposed to let me win so I could impress him! What was that all about?"
"Sorry, I couldn't help myself." The guy shrugged and Percy groaned in annoyance. That was so stupid. Now he had to think of something else to get his attention.
Later that day he found [name] sitting in the cafeteria, eating some fries and he rushed over to him and sat down next to him, making the other guy slowly turn to look at him with surprise. "Hey, Percy? What's gotten you all hyped up?"
"Oh, nothing." He stayed silent for a moment before continuing, "do you remember that time I got back your dads lighting bolt from Luke? That was pretty cool, huh?" Percy looked at him with a wide smile. He could remember how [name] first reacted when he found out and it made Percy feel like he was on top of the world.
"Yeah... I remember." He answered and they sat in silence for a bit longer. Percy frowned seeing that he wasn't impressed by that at all. He heard a bunch of giggling and looked across the room to see girls staring at [name], blushing and obviously have a conversation about him.
It was safe to say, [name] was very popular, with both the girls and the guys. He just had a charisma that everyone was drawn to, not to mention he was a complete badass. Surprisingly, he hadn't had many partners before, which Percy was happy about. He glared across the room at them but froze when he saw one of them get up up walk over. He knew exactly what she was coming over here for and he wasn't about to allow that to happen.
"Hey! Let's go for a walk." Percy grabbed his hand and pulled him up, the fries falling from his hands and he looked at Percy with furrowed his eyebrows, opening his mouth to speak as Percy dragged him out of the cafeteria, seeing the girl was now looking at them in disappointment. Too bad, he's mine, he thought with a smile.
"...I didn't get to finish my food."
Percy looked over at him and stopped when they were away from the cafeteria. "How about I buy you a new batch? But for right now, I actually wanted to show you something?"
