Seth and Emby sat next to each at the beach, watching the rest of their pack hanging out with their imprints, being a loving and cute. Now normally, this wouldn't bother either of them but it did. Why? Because they weren't allowed to bring their imprint with them, seeing as [name] was a vampire.
"It's not fair. He's doing nothing wrong. Who cares if he's a vampire? We should be allowed to bring out imprint out with us." Seth complained with a deep frown on his face. "They all have their mates with them."
"Yeah, some people are just lucky I guess." Embry shrugged, trying his best not to glare at his pack. None of them wanted [name] to come and although Seth and Embry made a great argument, they just didn't listen. So, they were stuck without their mate.
"You know why he can't come." Sam started as he heard the end of their conversation. "He might be your imprint but he's still a vampire and we're not comfortable with him coming. It's as simple as that."
"Simple as that? It's not as simple as that. Him being a vampire should have nothing to do with if he should come or not. He's been nothing but nice to you even though you've been a dick to him!" Seth shouted.
"Enough!" Sam shouted back. "My word is final and he isn't coming. If you can't accept that, than you'll just have to leave." The alpha turned around and walked back to Emily.
"Fine." Seth stood up and held his hand out of Embry to take. "Let's go. I'd rather spend the day with [name], than with people who are ass holes for no reason."
Embry didn't make any objection and took his hand, standing up with him. He agreed with Seth wholeheartedly. His wolf was yearning for his mate and he was more than happy to leave.

"What are you two doing back to early?" [name] asked when they walked through the door of the house they shared. They had moved in together a little over a month ago and so far, it was going great. Only a few little fights here and there but that was normal for any relationship. "I thought you were spending the day at the beach?"
"We were but we decided we'd rather be at home with you." Embry smiled, walking over to him and wrapping his arms around his neck, kissing him lightly. Seth was the next one to walk over and copy the action.
"Wait, you didn't leave just because I couldn't come right? Guys, I will be fine. I don't want you to stop being friends with your pack because of me." He said with a frown.
"You aren't the one that's driving us apart, it's them. They're being unreasonable about you and we can't just accept that." Seth said, wishing [name] wasn't so nice all the time. He always thought it was his fault and thought he deserved the way the pack treated him just because he was a vampire who had once been bad.
"I can understand why they don't like me though. I used to be with the Volturi and I wasn't a good guy. Besides. it's in a wolfs nature to not like vampires."
"We get that." Embry said. "It just sucks that these guys were like brothers to us and they won't even try for us. They don't make any effort to get to know you. They don't care that there hurting us."
"At least Leah likes me." [name] tried to get them to see a positive. At first she didn't. She probably hated him the most but after spending time with him and getting to know him, she saw that he wasn't that bad of a guy. Besides, he made her little brother happy and that's all she could really ask for. "Just give the pack some more time, you never know, maybe they'll change their mind."
"I doubt it." Embry mumbled. "Can we just go watch a movie or something?"
[name] smiled at him, "anything you want baby." He said. He had never minded that the pack didn't like him but he had no idea this was how his imprints felt. He had to think of something to do to fix all of this.

Weeks later and [name] had been very busy. He had been talking to Sam allot and finally he had convinced him to come over with the rest of the pack and have dinner. Embry and Seth had no idea. He wanted to surprise them and he knew this was a surprise that would make them happy.
The knock on the door broke their conversation up, Seth and Embry looking up confused. Seth stood up and walked over to the door, opening it with wide eyes. "Sam... what are all you guys doing here?"
"Your boy invited us for dinner." Paul stated impatiently. "Are you going to invite us in or not?"
"Of course. Come in." [name] said, leaning against the wall with a smile. He turned around and walked back into the kitchen where he had already started dinner. A nice, big one. He started to chop us the vegetables when two werewolves entered the kitchen. "Are you surprised?"
"Very surprised."
"How in the world, did you convince them to come here? The last time I talked to Paul, he said he'd rather chop his dick off."
"You both know how convincing I can be."
The dinner lasted longer then expected and it seemed everyone had had a good time. Sure, [name] knew that he would have to do allot more to get into their good books but tonight was a start. They all left and Embry and Seth fell back onto the couch in exhaustion. "I could just pass out right now."
"Thank you for doing that, [name]." Embry said.
"I do anything for you two, even makes nice with a bunch of wolves." He walked over and sat between them, putting an arm over both of their shoulders as they leaned into him.
"Well, we appreciate it."
"We really do. You're the best imprint we could of asked for."
