He walked through the door with a loud groan, throwing himself on the couch, face first as soon as he was close enough. His face was tense and all he wanted was to sleep. His day at work had been extremely hard and just the thought of having to go back the next day made his stomach turn.

"You look stressed." His girlfriend said as she entered the room, coming over to the couch and running her fingers through his hair.

"I don't think I've ever been this stressed before." [name] replied, looking at her over his shoulder, trying to manage a smile. It didn't look to good and Caitlin could tell it was fake.

"Okay. Sit up." She said and he followed her instruction with a heavy sigh. She sat behind him and moved her hands up, starting to rub his shoulders.

Tension started flowing out of him and his head fell back, a content sigh leaving his lips. "That feels really good." He said, groaning when she hit a particular point that had been bothering him all day. The longer she did it, the more he could feel himself drifting off to sleep, still sitting up.

Caitlin didn't even notice he had fallen asleep until his head fell to the side and soft snores escaped him. A small smile made its way onto her face and she gently laid him back down on the couch, bringing up the blanket to cover him. It was cold and she didn't want him getting the flu.

She walked into the kitchen and continued to cook dinner. It would be ready soon but she didn't know if she should wake him up or not. He needed to eat but on the other hand, he needed to sleep.

She pursed her lips and walked to the entry way of the door, leaning against it as she trailed her eyes over him. She loved him so much and she hated that he was so stressed out and she didn't know what to do to help him.

The smell of smoke entered her nostrils and her eyes widened, running into the kitchen and seeing the dinner she was cooking now a dark colour and smoke coming off it. "Oh, crap!" She yelled, running over to it, grabbing it and throwing it into the sink. "Dammit!"

"You are the worst cook." She heard and whipped around to see [name] now awake.

"I thought you were asleep."

"Light sleeper." He answered, walking over to her, bags still present under his eyes. "Wanna order some take away and than go to bed, pretending the rest of the world doesn't exist?"

"I'd love it."
