Atsushi sat on the green grass, the wind blowing threw his hair softly as he looked at the lake in front of him, watching the water gracefully move back and forth. It was a beautiful day but that didn't cheer Atsushi up. He was still as sad as ever.
He felt so alone and like no one wanted to be near him. So he left the agency and didn't look back. He didn't want to annoy anyone anymore and he felt the one way to do that was to leave for the day. That would make them all happy.
A couple meters away from him, [name] was quickly looking back and forth for him. Atsushi had left a couple hours ago and [name] had seen the sad expression on his face when he left. He was just going to ask what was wrong when he got back but then Atsushi never returned.
He caught sight of his boyfriend sitting down and breathed a sigh of relief, glad there was nothing wrong with him. Physically, at least. He moved his way over to him and quietly sat down next to him.
Atsushi didn't say anything and stared ahead.
"What's going on inside that crazy head of yours?" He asked. He really wasn't great at comforting people. He was more of a stone cold type but Atsushi brought something else out of him and he couldn't help but turn into a giant teddy bear. Only for Atsushi though. Never for anyone else.
Atsushi breathed out shakily, trying not to let himself break down. He didn't want to seem like a hand full and he didn't want [name] to think he had to comfort him. "I just haven't been feeling great today."
"Like sick great or emotionally great?"
"Don't worry about me." Atsushi shook his head. "I can handle."
"I know you can handle anything but that doesn't mean I don't want to help." He said, honestly. "I know I might not be the greatest with words but I'm sure you'll feel better if you talk to someone. It could be anyone. However, I would prefer if it were me."
"It's just that I don't feel like I'm needed at the agency. That's all." Atsushi said like it were no big deal.
"What are you talking about? Of course you are needed. You're an essential part of the team."
"You're just saying that to make me feel better. I'm useless! The only thing I do is cause problems and I'm a burden. Everyone there wants me gone. I can see that. They just don't want to tell me. I'm making it easier for them and you by leaving. No one will ever care about me."
[name] narrowed his eyes and his top lip curled up in a growl. He was appalled by what he was hearing. How could Atsushi think he was a burden when all he did was help them? He grabbed Atsushi by the shoulders and pushed him back.
Atsushi widened his eyes, letting out a noise of surprise when his back hit the ground and his hands were being pinned above his head.
"Don't ever say that about yourself." [name] snapped, hovering over him. "You should never feel that way because you are loved, especially by me. I care about you more then anyone else in this world and I would do anything for you."
Atsushi listened, clinging to every word that was being said.
"Before you came to the agency it was so boring. Life was boring and you would never catch me smiling. I only started to smile and enjoy life after you came. Don't you see how I'm made fun of all the time because of how whipped I am for you? And I don't care that I'm being made fun of because I love you so much that I can handle any of what those dicks say."
He lifted one had off of Atsushi's wrist and put it on the side of his face, smiling down at him. Atsushi could feel his hear beating faster and the need to pull him closer and never let him go was getting to much to handle.
"You are an amazing agent and it would never be the same at the agency without you. Everyone will agree with me. So, don't ever feel like you are unwanted or useless because you are the opposite of that and if I have to spend the rest of my life proving that to you, I'd be happy to do it."
"You really mean all that?" Atsushi asked.
"I'd never lie to you."
"I love you so much." Atsushi cried out, wrapping his legs around his waist and his free arm around his neck, using all his strength to cling onto him.
"I love you to." He replied, leaning down and kissing his tear stained cheek.
For the next hour or two, the boys didn't go back to the agency. They stayed on the lake and held each other, watching as the sun slowly set and left a gorgeous combination of light and colours in the sky.
"Are you feeling better?" [name] asked.
Atsushi nodded his head on top of his chest, his face now dry since he hadn't been crying. "I do. Thank you for finding me and talking to me."
"I'll always find you, no matter how far you go." He frowned, thinking over what he just said. "That made me sound like a stalker."
Atsushi laughed, "you know, for someone who doesn't think their good with words, you sure know how to use them well."
"Only with you. Won't catch me talking like that with anyone else."
"That makes me feel special." Atsushi said before a blush covered his cheeks. "Do you think we might be able to spend the night together tonight?"
"Yeah, sure. That's no problem." He furrowed his eyebrows. "Why do you look like a tomato?"
"Because I'm ready to have my first time... with you."
"Oh?" The words registered in his head and he widened his eyes, "Oh!"
