Chapter 93: Moving On, Teen Wolf
Word Count: 1372He walked up the stairs, slowly and quietly. He and Stiles were supposed to have hung out but Stiles had cancelled, saying he was sick. [name], being the amazing boyfriend that he is, decided to bring him some soup to make him feel better. It seemed Stiles had been getting sick a lot lately so this was a good way they could still spend time together.
He walked up to the door and opened it, freezing as his eyes adjusted to what he was seeing. "Stiles... Lydia..." He trailed off.
Stiles jumped up from the girl, eyes wide. "This is not what it looks like, I swear." They were both fully clothed but they had been kissing.
"Who would have thought my boyfriend would cheat on me with my best friend. What a cliche." He laughed sadly, arms dropping to his sides, the soup forgotten. "I should have listened to everyone's warning about you."
They had all said that Stiles was in love wit Lydia and he always had been but he thought that if they got together, that Stiles would forget about her and love him. He was an idiot for thinking that. "I hope you two are really happy together because I'm done with both of you."
"Wait, please!" Stiles called, running forward and grabbing his arm. "It didn't mean anything. T-This was the last time we were going to see each other, I swear! I love you, I don't love her anymore." He was so consumed with finally having a chance with her that he did something he would regret for the rest of his life. "Please just give me another chance."
Lydia looked down at the bed, tears coming to her eyes as his words registered to her. Not only did she lose her best friend but she did over a guy who didn't even have feelings for her.
[name] scoffed and ripped his arm away from his now ex boyfriend. "I don't fuck with cheaters. I don't care if you're lying or you're telling the truth, if you really loved me and respected me than this never would have happened in the first place." He pushed the soup into his chest. "Hope you feel better."
He wouldn't let himself cry. Stiles wasn't worth it. He continued out of the house, his steps feeling so heavy and slow as he tried to control himself. When he finally made it into the car, he sat in silence for a couple minutes, looking back at the house he had been at so many times before. Where he had dates, dinners and where he and Stiles had lost their virginity to each other.
He really thought they would have made it. That was naive of him. How were you supposed to trust someone ever again after the person you trusted more than anyone broke you?
He turned on his car. He wouldn't let Stiles do this to him. He was strong and he didn't need him or Lydia in his life. He had many other people. People that cared and loved him. That's all that mattered.

Two months had passed and he hadn't spoken to Stiles or Lydia since. They had tried but he wasn't having any of that. Surprisingly, they hadn't gotten together like he was expecting them to. He hardly saw them interacting either. Maybe they were just sneaking around still.
