Midoriya's POV
I didn't want to look up. "You do realize that you'd be allowed to leave the house whenever you wanted, right?" Aizawa asked, letting his hand fall to his side. "Well, yeah but..." I trailed off, not sure if I really wanted him to know. "But what?" Aizawa asked, looking confused.
"I don't know. I just wanna have some time to myself, and a few other students are going to be here, so there's nothing to worry about. I mean, if anything goes wrong, which I doubt will, I won't really be alone. So a few days are okay and plus-" "Midoriya, you're muttering again." Aizawa said, cutting me off. "Oh, Sorry!" I said, covering my mouth with my hands.
"It's fine, just be careful while you're here. Also, do you want the first three days, the last three days, or every other day to yourself?" Aizawa asked, sitting down on my bed. "Oh, ... let's see. Well, I guess the first three would be better." I said, mumbling a bit. "Okay then. I will see you in four days." Aizawa said, getting up and leaving. 'He wasn't here for long.' I thought, looking at the time.
'5:57' was printed out on the clock face. I sighed, realizing just how much had happened in a little more than an hour and a half. 'I kinda wonder what Todoroki's doing.' I thought laying on my bed. The soft, familiar 'floff' sound that my bed made relaxed me quite a bit. I didn't even realize I was tired 'till a yawned pushed its way through my lungs.
I didn't want to sleep, but my body sure did, as I found myself nodding off in a matter of minutes. My eyelids felt heavy and I closed them thinking I'd just close my eyes for a minute. Before I could fully fall asleep, blurry images of my mom and clearer scenes with Kacchan flew through my mind. I opened my eyes quickly, no longer feeling any tiredness at all. I brought my knees up, putting my elbows on them.
I put my hands in my hair and took a few deep breaths. I stood up, trying to think of something to distract myself with. I couldn't think of much and ended up deciding I was going to stretch. 'I wonder if I can still do the splits.' I thought, sitting down on the floor and reaching for my right foot. 'That was easy enough.' I found it kind of odd how normal my thoughts were.
I sat back up and did the same to the left leg. I put both legs in front of me and reached for both feet at the same time. I felt a slight pull of muscles on the back of my thighs. I sat up, spreading my legs to a comfortable spot and then proceeded to lean forward, pretty much laying my chest on the floor.
I stretched a bit more before I stood, taking a breath before sticking one leg out an letting myself fall. I landed in the splits, feeling a bit of a sting on the inside of my thighs. "AH! MIDORIYA!!" I looked up to see Todoroki staring at me with wide eyes, a lot of complete shock on his face.
"Oh! Todo! You're back!" I said, not moving or changing my position. Todoroki just stared at me, giving me no response. "Um, Todo, you good?" I asked teasingly, knowing he's staring because I'm a guy... in the splits... right in front of him... looking at him as if it's totally normal.
"I should be the one asking you that." Todoroki said, his face relaxing just a bit. I felt something bubbling up in my chest just before I started laughing. "You-You're face!" I laughed out, seeing how confused Todoroki looked. I pulled my left leg forward as I fell to the floor, holding my stomach. I took a breath and was able to calm myself down easily.
"Sure, you keep laughing." Todoroki said, walking towards me. Just before he was right in front of me, he slid into a split himself, no stretch or anything. "Now now. Don't we just have a lot in common. We can both do the splits easily and we both make hilarious faces when we're surprised." Todoroki said, a straight face on full display.
I started laughing again. 'He's full of surprises.' I thought through every giggle and laugh. I stood up, falling back into my splits, putting myself right next to Todoroki. "You're just a bundle of new surprises, aren't you?" Todoroki rhetorically asked. I smiled feeling all the muscles in my face move felt really weird. "Well, you are too. Who knew you could do the splits?" I said, feeling the bubbly feeling again.
'This feels familiar, but I can't quite remember what it is.' My thoughts were interrupted by my door slamming open, revealing an angry, and now confused, Kacchan. I froze, not know what to do. 'The last time I saw him, it was when we were in the Recovery Room.' I thought, feeling the bubblely feeling go away and be replaced by guilt.
"What the fuck are you two ass holes doing?!" Kacchan suddenly yelled, gesturing to us. I looked down and looked back up. "Um, the splits?" I replied, more as a question then an answer. "No shit Sherlock. I'm asking why, dumb ass!" Kacchan yelled. I really was NOT in the mood for this. "Because we're amazing." I said, finding a new confidence.
I heard snickering coming from my left. I looked at Todoroki and he was obviously failing at keeping his laughter contained. "Shut up you Half n' Half Bastard!" Kacchan yelled, stomping over to us. I quickly got out of my splits and stood up in front of him. "You obviously came here for a reason. It better not be just to beat us up." I said, cutting straight to the chase. "Stupid fucko, of course I did." Kacchan replied, turning to his side.
"I came to fucking check up on you and make sure you weren't being a stupid dumb dumb." Kacchan mumbled as he stuffed his hands into his pockets. "Wow, thanks for the vote of confidence." I said dryly. It was like I was just itchin' for a fight. 'I'm not gonna lie, I kinda wanna fight him again.' I thought, suddenly realizing what happened the last time we fought and no longer wanting a fight.
"Oh shut the fuck up and show me your goddamn arm." Kacchan demanded, losing his patients with every passing second. I held out my arm. It had a bandage and my shirt covering it. I grabbed my shirt and pulled it. My nose scrunched up at the sound of the soiled bandage coming off my arm.
Kacchan looked at it, making sure there were no signs of infection. "It's fine. Now that you're fine..." Kacchan trailed off, leaning back and looking at Todoroki, who had previously moved to a more 'normal' position. "Hey Icy-Hot bitch!" Kacchan yelled, even though we could hear him just fine with out. "What Bakuhoe Thotsuke?" Todoroki asked, making fun of Kacchan. 'Oh no, this isn't good.'
