Todoroki's POV

It was 10:15 and I was waiting at the mall, waiting for everyone else to arrive. I texted Midoriya to make sure he was still coming. I waited awhile, having Mina, Uraraka, Kaminari, and Tsuyu, I mean, Tsu, show up. "Well, now we're just waiting for Momo, Jiro, Tooru, Kirishima, Bakubro, and Midoriya!" Mina said, jumping around.

"Scratch that. Now it's just Kirishima, Bakugo, and Midoriya." Uraraka said, pointing to the smiling trio of girls walking towards us. "Ribbit, it is only 10:25. We can wait a bit longer, ribbit." Tsu said, holding a finger against her chin. I looked at my phone, still having no response from Midoriya.

'You on your way?'

I sent the message I had typed out, looking at my screen while the group around me were talking and laughing. "Hey look! It's Kiri and Bakubro!" Kaminari yelled over the rest of the voices. That's when I got really nervous. I walked over to Bakugo. "Hey have you seen Midoriya?" I asked him, knowing if anyone had, it'd him. "No. Is he not here yet?" Bakugo answered, looking back to where he came from.

I shook my head in response. "I'll be right back, you guys go on ahead." I hollered as I ran the way I watched Bakugo come from, knowing that they lived near each other. I called and texted Midoriya as I ran, blowing up his phone. I had been to Midoriya's once before so I knew what I was looking for, just not how to get there from where I was. I ran and ran, continuing to text and call. Feeling as if I hadn't gotten anywhere, I started making an ice path that I slid on until a familiar set of buildings came into view.

I ran down to his building, up a flight of stairs, and started banging on his door as I looked at the time. '10:46, now 10:47.' I let hand fall to my side as I knocked on the door again. I heard feet thudding on the floor just before a click, the door opening to a tired looking Midoriya. "Why Didn't You Answer Your Phone?!" I hollered, feeling the panic start to wash away. "Huh? Oh, um, wait what time is it?" Midoriya asked, looking like he might have known something I didn't. "10:47, why?" I asked, not exactly sure what was going on.

"Oh! I'm sorry, I must've fell to sleep. Give me a minute and we can go!" He said, running back into the apartment. I stepped in, leaving the door open as I watched the green haired boy walk over to me and then shout, "Oh, wallet!" Before walking to the counter and grabbing his wallet and keys from what sounded like a wooden bowl. Midoriya slipped his famous red shoes on as we walked out of the door way. He locked the door before catching up to me.

"Haha! Oh my! 18 Missed calls from Todo! 26 unread messages from Todo! 3 missed calls and one unread message from Kacchan!" Midoriya laughed as he read his notifications aloud. "Yeah, see? People were worried." I said, looking at him. "I didn't mean to!" Midoriya laughed as he looked back down to his phone, typing something.

I looked over his shoulder, seeing he was replying to Bakugo. "Well, Kacchan says that they're still waiting at the entrance." Midoriya started, looking at me with a determined face before smirking at me. "Race ya!" The teen suddenly yelled before activating his quirk and taking off. "No fair!" I hollered, making another ice path as I caught up to the teen, making it to the mall at the same time, both of us yelling, "I win!"

"Midoriya! Don't scare us like that!" Uraraka screeched, running over and leaping into Midoriya's arms as she hugged him. I heard some muffled sound coming from the teen as he pulled her off, his face slightly red. Midoriya breathed in a big breath as his face went beet red. "Wow, Round face. Way to seduce a gay dude." Bakugo said with a straight face.

"Wow, Bakugo. Didn't know you knew how to make jokes." I replied, in the same tone, mimicking the explosive blonde. I heard laughing coming from both my left and right. On my right was Kirishima and Kaminari laughing like hyenas and on my left was Midoriya giggling as he smiled. "Oh my God! Believe it or not, I am a goddamn human you Halfy bastard!" Bakugo yelled. "Oh, wow. I couldn't tell." I said, my voice laced with sarcasm.

The laughing around us got louder as a few more people joined in. We eventually walked into the mall and decided we'd eat at a café and then separate into groups. We waited in the line as we looked at the menu. I flinched when I felt cold finger intertwine with my own. I looked at the hand a followed it up to a shivering Midoriya. I wrapped my fingers around his, lightly using my quirk to warm my hand and arm.

Midoriya sighed and leaned more into me as he seemed to enjoy the warmth. "Mm, you're so warm." He mumbled, rubbing his cheek on my arm. "No, you're just cold." I responded, knowing that this was a side effect of his anorexia episode. "Hmph! So rude." Midoriya pouted, still clinging to me though. "You love me anyway and we both know it." I leaned down and whispered. Midoriya gasped, his face going red before he stuck his tongue out at me, trying to be sassy.

I laughed and stepped forward, ordering and then waiting for Midoriya to do the same. "Go pay for yours, I'm paying for myself." Midoriya said when he saw me looking at him, letting go of my hand. I sighed, walking the register and paying for my cold soba, knowing there was no way I was winning that one. I went and sat down at a table, making sure there was enough room for Midoriya. I was able to take about two bites before a little ball of green caught between a bunch of guys attracted my eyes.

Midoriya looked slightly panicked as he tried to keep so distance between him and the the bigger guys. I stood up without hesitation and walked over. "Mido, baby. Do you need help?" I asked, grabbing the attention of the group of men. "Oh, no! You know that if they were truly bothering me, I would blow them away with one finger, like I tried with you at the U.A. Sports Festival." Midoriya said, the once present panic melting way in an instant. I chuckled lightly, knowing just how true that statement was.

"Um, guys. I didn't recognize it at first 'cause he's in casual wear and his hands aren't totally busted, but I think the cutie is the one that won against the brainwashing guy." One of guys said, looking slightly pale. "No shit?" One guy asked, getting close to Midoriya, taking a closer look. "OH MY GOD!! That's wicked! It is!" He yelled, looking like an excited puppy as he pulled out a notebook. "Haha! Hey Deku! He's just like you!" Kaminari yelled, apparently watching the whole exchange.

"Kami! That's so mean!" Midoriya yelled back, handing me his tray, quickly signing the notebook and taking his food back. The once intimidating men were now freaking out about most of 1-A being there. After those idiots left, Midoriya and I sat down at the table I was originally seated at. I watched as Midoriya took the ceramic lid off his small bowl of chicken noodle soup. "Hm, I'm surprised you didn't get katsudon." I said, knowing exactly what the teen liked.

"Yeah, not too hungry." Midoriya said, catching the ears of Bakugo. The blonde moved over to where we were seated sitting next to Midoriya. "O-Oh! Hey K-Kacchan!" Midoriya smiled awkwardly, playing with his food a bit. "Hm." Bakugo responded with a hum as he ate, what smelt like, spicy curry. Kirishima sat down next to me, striking conversation with Midoriya.

I watched as Midoriya took six bites throughout the whole conversation, moving it around to make it look like he ate more than he did. "Looks like Baku and I have finished,  we're gonna head out." Kirishima said as he and Bakugo stood. "Okay, see you guys later!" Midoriya said, smiling. Bakugo didn't walk away with Kirishima right away, going to Midoriya, whispering something that made Midoriya's eyes go big before he looked down, nodding.

"It's fine, at least you ate." Bakugo said, rubbing his forest green hair before he walked over to Kirishima and left the café. "What'd he s-" ""Six bites then you played with it." Is what he said." Midoriya responded before I even finished asking.

"Hm, how about we go too?" I asked, standing up with my empty tray. "H-Huh? You-You're not going to make me eat more?" Midoriya questioned, finally looking up. "Nah, at least you ate something, right?" I replied, starting to walk over to the garbage and tray station, hearing Midoriya jog up behind me.
