Midoriya's POV

I put my charger in my duffel, waiting for Aizawa to talk. "Well, to start, why do you have a hickey?" I felt my face get really hot as I slapped my hand over the spot Todoroki was sucking and bit. I looked over at Todoroki horrified. "You gave me a Hickey?" I asked, making the once quiet giggles turn into full blown laughing. "Excuse me, What?" Aizawa asked, looking at Todoroki as if he was my dad or over protective brother.

"Y-You said you d-didn't mind!" Todoroki laughed, seemingly quite pleased with what he's done. "You hairy marshmallow!" I yelled, running over to the bathroom. I heard Aizawa laugh and Todoroki laugh harder at my choice of words. I giggle a little myself. I pulled out the foundation I left here and put some over the purple and almost black bruise on my neck.

"Todoroki! You get to buy me more foundation! Better yet Concealer! You cactus!" I hollered, knowing this bottle wouldn't last. The laughing from the living room got louder due to my creative curses. I quickly covered the hickey with the make up and walked back out to the living room. The laughter made my heart swell, the smiling bringing back memories of the days me and my mom would scream creative curse substitutions at each other.

"He cal-called me a cactus! Oh my!" I heard Todoroki say. It was quiet for a second before the both ended up laughing again. "Did you just imagine yourself as a cactus?" I asked, feeling like that would be quite the sight. "Pfft! Hahahahaha!" Apparently, I was wrong, 'cause the both ended laughing harder at the statement.

I pulled out my phone, taking at picture of the two laughing guys. "Well, I'm sending this to everyone." I whispered to myself. A picture of the two even smiling by themselves is rare, but both of them laughing at the same time is a one in a million chance. The smiles I caught were perfect and made me smile to myself. I put my phone into my sweat's right pocket. I shook my head at the two laughing idiots that had now either fallen to the floor or were very close to it. I just stood there, feeling a wave of nostalgia wash over me.

"You know, my mom and I would have something we called 'creative curse battles'. Hehe, the way to win was make someone else repeat a word or make them laugh so hard they can't respond within 10 seconds. Hairy marshmallow always seems to work really well." I smiled, remembering the first time I had used 'hairy marshmallow'. "I guess I win this round, huh?" I asked, tears making their way to my eyes.

"Oh fiddle sticks, this really ruffles my feathers." I said, bowing my head into my hands as the memories of my mom's reaction made my chest tighten painfully. "Yeah, you do." Todoroki said, chuckling lightly. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to cry so much." I said, sniffling and rubbing my eyes until they were too sore to cry anymore. I looked up after the warmth in my eyes subsided. "I'm okay now." I said, trying to smile.

"Let's go! I wanna see Mic!" I said, doing a silly walk, lifting my legs a bit higher than normal before slapping them down to the floor. I grabbed the duffel bag I had packed, looking at the two guys in my living room. "Did you just rub your eyes until they hurt so bad they stopped producing water?" Aizawa asked, looking like he had just seen a ghost. "Yes, yes, I did. So what? Let's go." I replied walking to the door and opening it. "Hit the lights on the wall there as you come out." I said, only for both of them to stay where they were. "I- We want your opinion on something before we go." Aizawa said, looking a little nervous. "'Kay?" I replied, just really wanting out of this can of painful memories. "If you don't want to stay with me and Hizashi, you can just say so. We'll figure something out, but we want you to at least try staying with us."

"Did I not just say I wanted to see Mic, I think that makes my current intentions pretty clear." I replied. "So may we go now?" I asked, making head gestures at the open door I was standing by. "If I can get a kiss, yeah." Todoroki agreed. I smiled to myself as I walked to him, winking at Aizawa as I walked by him. Todoroki seemed pleased and close his eyes as I got in close. I kissed his forehead even though I knew what he he really wanted. I got down from my tip toes, smirking to myself. "You never specified where you wanted the kiss, just that you wanted one." I shrugged as I turned away from the now very flustered Todoroki.

Aizawa looked quite happy with my response as well, shaking his head and chuckling at my antics. "What? I'm not wrong." I laughed, the dark haired teacher just smiling a bit more. "No, you're not, but that was amusing to watch." Aizawa replied. "Come on Todo, you're lagging behind." I teased, knowing I partially fried his brain. "Uh, yeah. Sorry." Todoroki said, walking over to us, turning off the lights as he passed them.

"Oh, Izuku! I was just about to come over. There seemed to be some excitement in your apartment toady." Mrs. Chiyo scared me as she opened her door, almost hitting me as we walked by. "Oh, yes, I apologize for any noise. You won't have to bring me dinner for awhile, I'm not sure I can stand being in there without my m-, sorry. Uh, without my mom." I explained to the nice neighbor lady, choking on my words. "Oh, sweetie, I'm sorry. Just know we're always here if you need anything, alright?" Mrs. Chiyo offered, taking my hand as if to show how serious she was.

"Yes, of course. Thank you! We'll be on our way now. Thanks again, for last night." I said, bowing and excusing us. "She was friendly." Todoroki noted aloud. "Yeah, me and her son were friends for a time." I explained, avoiding going down memory lane again. "I can assume from the conversation you had, that she had dinner with you last night?" Aizawa asked, walking infront of me and the candy cane themed teen next to me. "Yeah, her, her son, and me." I said, the atmosphere staying light and comfortable as we walked down the stairs and toward the parking lot.

"Just stick your stuff in the back seat." Aizawa said, unlocking the car. I pulled open the door, slinging the duffel bag into the clean, black car. "Do you need a ride home?" I heard Aizawa ask. "No, my sister's on her way to pick me up." Todoroki's deep voice replied, steadying my heart from the unknowingly fast pace it pick up. "Okay."

I closed the door, opening the passenger side door. Aizawa started walking over and I made my way to Todoroki. I stood on my toes, grabbed Todoroki's cheeks, and kissed his soft lips. I pulled away and scurried to the car, feeling extremely accomplished as Todoroki stood there for a minute before finally blinking at me. By the time the poor boy was working again, Aizawa was already pulling out of the parking space.

"You shouldn't feel any pressure to stay with us. You are free to do as you please but I'd like to see you at least once a day." Aizawa watched the road as he explained some of the nit picky stuff. When they had meals, when lights out was, curfew, things like that. "I'll give you a tour when we get there, but Hizashi is a little different when he's at home. It might be odd to you, but he's a human too." I couldn't help but chuckle at that a bit as we pulled into a drive way to a nice house. Not extravagant, but definitely not small.

Now, is when the nerves that had been building up really got my stomach in a twist.
