Midoriya's POV

I felt my face fall slightly at the thought. I turned back to my bowl of strawberries, no longer seeing the appeal in the sweet fruit. I placed my hands in my lap, staring at them in an attempt to keep the negative thoughts at bay. The laughter of Kirishima and Auntie were still in full swing, but I couldn't bring myself out of my head enough to listen to the friendly banter. I sighed as I stood up. I gave Todoroki a kiss on the cheek as I passed him on my way to the living room. I didn't bother with walking around the couch as I put my hand on the back of a couch and kicked my legs over, landing more gracefully next to Aunt Mitsuki than expected.

I laid my head on her shoulder, as she and Kirishima continued teasing Kacchan. 'There are just somethings women can do that men can't.' I thought, feeling the motherly love as Auntie wrapped her arm around my shoulders, her conversation not being disrupted at all. I brought my knees up, curling into the couch and Mitsuki's arm. "How did you do that? He just relaxed into you like it was nothing." I'm not exactly sure who asked as I was half asleep, but it stood out in the conversation.

"Ah. I've been watching this brat since he was in diapers. When Inko, his mom, had to work or when him and Katsuki would have sleepovers. He's like another son to me. I guess it goes the other way too. Just give him time. Trust is something he struggles with." Auntie explained, getting a groan from Kacchan at the mention of our sleepovers. "Jeez. Call me out more, why don't ya?" I replied sarcastically, my eyes starting to feel like lead. Chuckles spread through the room at my remark, making a smile pulling at my lips. The conversation continued, laughter being heard from just about everyone. "Aizawa. Todoroki." I called, half asleep. "Yeah?" The both replied at the same time.

"I'm sorry. 'Bout what happened in the car. You don't hate me, right?" I asked, letting my eyes close. "Of course we don't. I'm glad you were honest even though it was painful to hear." Todoroki replied, his tone going soft. "I agree. I don't hate you." Aizawa added on. "Thank goodness." I mumbled, letting the stress from the last 24 hours roll off my shoulders, falling to sleep quite quickly.

A weight suddenly hit my chest, making it a bit hard to breath. I slowly opened my eyes, the light coming in through the window making my tired eyes ache. I slowly adjusted to the brightness of the morning, looking down finding red and white hair sprawled across my chest. I smiled lightly, pulling my arm out from the blanket that covered me. I started petting Todoroki's hair, enjoying how silky it was as it slid through my fingers. I stayed laying there as I listen to the slow breathing of everyone. I looked around a bit, finding Auntie Mitsuki as my pillow, Mic being laid on by Aizawa on the couch under the window, and Kirishima and Kacchan cuddling on the floor by where I was laying.

I sighed, continuing to run my fingers in the red and white locks. After about an hour of laying there, I had gotten beyond bored. I skillfully wormed my way out of Todoroki's grasp without waking him or Auntie up. I leaped from the couch, over Kirishima and Kacchan, landing silently. I looked back, checking for any signs I woke anyone up. I smiled proudly as everyone was still sound asleep.

I walked into the kitchen, looking at the time, finding it to be 7:30. 'I went to sleep at about four, right? And I was laying there playing with Todoroki's amazing hair for about an hour, so I slept for about two hours.' "Not bad." I mumbled, shrugging my shoulders and I looked in the pantry. I saw the rice and knew what I was making for breakfast. I ran up to my room, changed into a long sleeve, grabbed my phone, went back to the kitchen and got to work on the rice, fish, and miso soup. I played music at a low volume, careful not to wake anyone in the living room.

I stirred the miso soup, checked the rice, and flipped the fish as I danced along. Swaying side to side, rocking my head, or even tapping my foot, just the movement doing enough to cheer me up a bit. I smiled as I hummed to the unfamiliar song. Just as the rice and fish were finishing, Kacchan wandered into the kitchen. "Whatever you're making smells fucking Fabulous." Kacchan grumbled, sitting on a stool at the island, laying his head down on his arms. "Thanks. It's almost done." I smiled, preparing him a bowl of rice. I turned the stove off, serving Kacchan a bowl of the miso soup, and pushing a fish on his plate. I set his breakfast on the island, pushing it towards him, smiling at the blonde when he looked up and took it.

Just then, Kirishima, Todoroki, and Mic walked in, looking tired and a bit of a mess. "Mornin'." Kirishima mumbled, finding his way to the seat next to Kacchan. "That smells good. Let me have some." Kirishima spoke, eyeballing Kacchan's food. "No way! I haven't even had the first bite yet." I smiled as Kacchan growled, hunching over his plate of food. I chuckled, serving Kirishima some and handing it to him before he could complain about wanting some. "Now, now. There's plenty for everyone." I said, grinning as Todoroki and Mic seemed to light up a bit. "Tell me what you think." I smiled, turning back to the stove to continue to serve the food out.

I was putting some rice into a bowl when I heard Kirishima gasp a bit. "Bakugo? What's wrong? Why are you crying?" Kirishima asked loudly. I looked back, finding Kacchan indeed in tears. "K-Kacchan?! What's wrong? Is it really that bad? I can make you something els-" I stopped when Kacchan looked up at me with a dangerous glare, though, his tears made it less intimidating than usual. "Take it and I will personally murder your dumb ass. It tastes just like Aunt Inko's, brings back memories." Kacchan grumbled, glancing from me to his breakfast as he spoke.

"O-Oh. I-Is that so-o?" I stuttered, turning back around to finish getting Mic and Todoroki their food. I quickly handed it to them, walking into the living room. I sat on the edge of the couch, gently putting my hand on Auntie's shoulder. "Auntie. Breakfast is ready, why don't you come eat?" I spoke, not yelling or whispering, just a normal volume. "Mmm. What'd ya make?" She grumbled, turning to me, blinking slowly. "Rice, miso soup, and fish." I smiled gently, trying not to show my amusement when looking at her messed up hair.

"Yum." She yawned, sitting up and pulling her arms over her head, stretching and popping her back. I walked over the Aizawa, deciding if I wanted to wake him up or not. I smirked when I saw his back exposed from his shirt riding up. I placed my ice cold hands on his back. "Ffuuaahhh!" I snickered as Aizawa screeched almost as loudly as Mic. "I cooked breakfast, come eat." I smiled, walking back into the kitchen to dish up Auntie Mitsuki and Aizawa. I hummed gently to my music that was still playing, swaying my hips to it as I put more rice into another bowl.

I put the miso soup into the same type of bowl, the fish laid down in front of both bowls. I had done this three other times that morning and it made me happy everyone seemed to like it so far. I gave Aizawa and Auntie their breakfasts before walking back to the stove to clean up. "Izuku..." I looked over to the call of my name, finding Auntie staring at me with wide eyes. "Yes?"

"It tastes exactly like your mother's. Thank you." Auntie smiled, even though the pain in her eyes was apparent to me. I looked down at the floor, turning back to the sink. "Thanks. Glad you like it." I mumbled, rinsing out the emptied pans. I continued, letting the sound of my quiet music keep me out of my head. "Midoriya. I hate to comment, but you never ate, did you?" Todoroki's voice broke the silence for a moment before everything felt overwhelming. I sighed, continuing to wash the dishes. "I'll eat the strawberries from last night, happy?" I asked, knowing I wouldn't be let off the hook this time. "Yes."

I shivered as Todoroki's hands landed on my hips, his breath fanning ever so gently on my ear. Before I could do anything more than go red, the halfy teen planted a kiss on my cheek. "Thanks for breakfast, it was delicious."

I turned around as Todoroki pulled away. I watched him walk up the stairs before turning to everyone else. "Did you see that? That's what I have to deal with everyday." I spoke sassy and was very obviously joking. It quite for a split second before everyone started laughing, even Aizawa shaking his head and chuckling. I smiled, moving the clean dishes to the drying wrack, drying my hands with a towel afterwards. As I was drying my hands, I couldn't help but notice the red that had spread onto my sleeve. I frowned and finished drying my hands. "I gotta go change my bandages. Enjoy your breakfasts." I smiled, excusing myself.
