Midoriya's POV
Uraraka was standing right in front of me. "Monster." She said, disappearing right after. It was all dark. I turned, trying to find at least someone. Right behind me was Aizawa. "You will never be a hero." He said, using his capture gear to fly off. "Villain." I turned, seeing Sero, his arm all busted up. I was waiting for him to disappear, like the everyone else, but he didn't.
"You could've killed Bakugo." Sero said, looking at me dead in the eyes. "You knowingly hurt us." I turned to see Mina, a gash on her head. "You blame me for everything." Todoroki said, from my left. "No, please stop" I begged, cupping my ears.
"You're an uncaring, liar." "Loser." "Monster." "Stupid Nerd!" "Fake!" "Villain!" The voices of my classmates filled my head, making me slightly dizzy." MURDERER!" Was screamed from the crowd. My mom was standing there, face down. "You killed me. Is that not enough? Are you really that blood thirsty? You would really hurt the people you care about?" She questioned me.
"N-No! I didn't mean to hur-" I started, being interrupted by my mom. "Blood thirsty monster." She said, as the sword pierced through her. "You killed me." She said, hands covered in blood. "You hurt us." The whole class said.
My breathing was uneven and I was shaking. "no. No. NO! STOP IT!!" I screamed as they continued speaking. I knew everything they said was true, but, like always, I refused to accept it. "Monster" "Bloody Thirsty Murderer!" I feel to my knees, holding my ears as hard as I could. Tears were endlessly falling down my face and falling into the deep, black void of nothingness.
My eyes shot open and I came flying up into a sitting position. I was back in the Recovery Room. Todoroki wasn't there with me anymore though. I started to panic. I was alone, in a dark-ish room, just after a nightmare. The voices started filling my head once again. I curled up into myself, holding my ears painfully hard, just as I had in the dream.
"Stop it, please. I'm so sorry! Please. I'm So Sorry!" I started out as a mumble, slowly getting louder, along with the voices of my classmates. The more I tried ignoring them, the louder they got. It was like I was under water; I'd try to breathe and my chest would tighten, causing small chokes and coughs. My crying got heavier and my lungs started to burn. "-ya? Mi....ia! Iz..u!" It was hard to hear, but I could feel someone shaking me.
"T-Todoroki?" I whispered, my voice breaking. My chest was tight, making breathing hard and I couldn't move. Everything hurt so much, but I felt, and heard, my ears pop. "Yeah. It's me. It's okay, I'm here. It's okay, just breathe." Todoroki said to me, getting onto the bed and pulling me into his lap. "I-I'm so s-sorry" I choked out. "Sshh. It's okay, no one blames you." Todoroki said rubbing my arm, holding onto me.
After I caught my breath, I pulled back looking at him. His hair is a mess and he had dark bags under his eyes. I reached my hand out, gently smoothing down some of his white as snow hair. 'Hot like always.' I thought, weaving my fingers through is hair, smoothing it out. 'Hey wait, what the heck?!' I mentally yelled at myself, embarrassed that I called him hot, even in my head. Todoroki's hand reached up to mine, pushing it onto his cheek after removing it from his head. I could feel the heat rising up on my face.
Todoroki had his eyes closed and his face was relaxed. I tried looking away, only for my eyes to catch on something shinning in the light from the hall. I squinted, trying to see what it was. It was a tray of split food. "Hey, Todoroki." I said, not looking at him. He hummed in response. I turned my body and backed away from him, still looking at the split food. I put my hands on my crossed legs, wanting to know where the food came from.
"Have you been here the whole time?" I asked, finally knowing why he looked like such a tired mess. "Well, except when I was getting food." He said, opening his tired eyes and looking at me. "I'm sorry, I made you drop your food!" I said a bit panicked, looking back to him. "Hm? Oh, no! It's not your fault." Todoroki said, getting up from the bed, cleaning up the food.
I went to go help, but once I stood up, my knees instantly screamed out in pain and I fell. I grabbed onto the bed, slowing my fall. When I landed on the ground with a small 'thump', I noticed then that my legs covered in bandages. "Oh... well, that didn't work out as I planned it." I said, sitting on the floor. "Ah! Midoriya, you're still healing, don't be moving around like that!" Todoroki almost yelled at me, quickly standing and walking to where I was seated on the cold, tile floor.
"Honestly, Midoriya. You almost die six hours ago and now you're trying to walk? Geez, chill and take your time." Todoroki said, shaking his head and picking me up. "W-What?" I asked, feeling the blood run from my face. Todoroki set me down on the bed and looked at me, confused. "What?" He asked, straightening his back, tilting his head at me.
"Y-You said I almost d-died. I-I didn't know that." I said, looking down at my hands. I started noticing how many bandages I had all over my body. They were on my wrists (not to my surprise) and my legs. I lifted my shirt, only finding more bandages around all of my upper half. I looked up at Todoroki, he looked very surprised and confused.
I felt my eyes tear up as I realize, almost my whole body was covered in wrappings. "Just what happened?" I whisper-asked Todoroki. He sat down on the bed, his back to me. "Aizawa said he told you, I guess not very well, huh?" Todoroki said, looking at the wall on the other side of the neighboring bed.
I looked down, feeling a bit left in the dark. I scooted forward on the bed, giving myself enough room to lay back down. "I don't care anymore, just forget it." I said, looking at Todoroki's back. I flopped myself back, my back landing on the soft bed. Though the bed was soft, my back still hurt when I did that. I flung myself back up, "AAGGHH!!" I screamed out in pain.
Todoroki jumped, turning back to me, quickly. "Ooww~" I pouted out, reaching my hand up to my back. "Okay... I think I kind of do want to know, now." I said, looking back at Todoroki, who stood there, worry written all across his face. He was staring at me, silently, for awhile before, "Pfft! Hahahaha!" Todoroki starting laughing at me! I felt myself flinch and go red, saying, "What are you laughing at, you dork?"
"Haha, ha ,ahh. You're expression was soo cute and innocent. I'm laughing 'cause the first thing that came to mind when I saw it, was a puppy." Todoroki said, chuckling and holding his stomach all through his sentence. "Hey!" I pouted, crossing my arms and then uncrossing them right after. 'Wow, everything really hurts.' I thought, rubbing my bicep, causing Todoroki to start laughing again as he pulled out a chair, putting next to the bed. "Fine! You go ahead and laugh! At least I know I'm cute enough to make people laugh!" I yelled, turning my head and puffing my cheeks.
Todoroki calms down and turns to me. "That's what you're mascot should be! A green bunny!" I turned back to him. "What?! But I thought you said I looked like a puppy!" I argued, very confused. "Yeah, but you'd be cuter with bunny ears and when you puff your cheeks, you look like a bunny with full cheeks." Todoroki argued back. I felt my face heat up again, as I turned away again. "Fine, whatever." I said, still not looking at him. "Haha! I win." He yawned tiredly, laying his head on the bed next to my hand. I looked back at him, "Yeah, yeah. But you're cute as well." I said under my breath, gently stroking his bi-colored hair.
