Midoriya's POV

I felt like I was going to puke, I was so nervous. 'I'm just being a burden. This was a bad idea. I'm so selfish. I shouldn't force them to keep me here. Useless. What was I thinking? They don't need someone as pathetic as me in there home. Stupid. They're too nice for me.' My thoughts raised my heart rate and I couldn't breathe properly. "Dammit. I'm such an idiot. I can't stress them more. They have a tough career anyway. Teaching is hard, plus hero work too. They'll hate me. I'll be in the way. A waste of space. Why did I think this was a good idea? Stupid!" I grabbed my ears, some of my unruly curls getting caught by my fingers.

I was snapped out of my self destructing by a hard smack. "Midoriya! Look at me! Breathe!" Aizawa hollered at me, my door open and Aizawa holding me by the shoulders. "Ow." I mumbled, touching my now stinging cheek. "There you are." Aizawa sighed, letting go of me as he looked at me, his face softening from the worry soaked one from a moment ago. "I'm sorry for hitting you. And for yelling too." Aizawa said, checking my ears. "I'm surprised you're not bleeding. Also," Aizawa's face turned very serious.

"I thought we told you that we want you over. You won't be stressing us out and we don't hate you. Kid, we asked you over 'cause this house is huge for us. Sure, it helps you but it benefits me and Hizashi as well, okay? Don't worry, like damn kid." Aizawa said, holding my face in his hands. I was stunned for a minute, taking in everything the dark haired adult had said. I nodded, unbuckling myself and getting out, being greeted by the cold night air. I opened the back seat door and pulled out my bag of belongings.

"Come on. I'll give you a basic tour." Aizawa said, his back facing me as he walked up to the front door, unlocking it and standing by it as I came in. I walked in, looking around at the spacious living room in front of me. "As you can see, that's the living room. Over there on the left is the kitchen and dining room. To the right are the stairs to the upstairs and basement." Aizawa pointed, taking off his shoes at the door. I followed lead, not wanting to cause any issues. "We prepared a room for you up here." I looked up from my shoes, quickly finishing taking them off and walking over to him with my duffel bag slung on my shoulder.

I walked up the stairs, counting 13, the same amount I had to take up to the apartment. I followed him down the short hall, the first door was black and had a small sign labeling it as a 'comfort room'. Just as I was about to ask Aizawa explained. "Pretty much a small library. Hizashi likes using it when it rains." I smiled, knowing just how gentle the loud blonde could be. "This one's your's." Aizawa stated, opening my door. "You can paint the door as you want. I hope you like the color we used." I walked in to find the walls a pretty teal.

"So this is why Mic was asking, huh?" I asked, remembering the time I ranted at him. "Yeah. Do you like it?" Aizawa asked, looking a little nervous even though he looked dead tired. "Yeah, I do. It feels like my dorm room." I said, seeing the bed and dresser in the same places. Also a bean green bag in the corner, were one would be in my dorm. "We were trying to make it as comfortable for you as we could." Aizawa explained, looking a bit more relaxed at my response. "Thank you, but you didn't have to do all this." I said, feeling like they did a lot of work for the likes of me.

"We wanted to, plus the window's in the perfect place anyway." Aizawa stated, looking proud of what he accomplished. I hugged the dark haired male tightly. "Thank you! I love it!" I mumbled into his chest, feeling a fuzzy all over the my body. I felt Aizawa return the hug as the fuzzy feeling spread from my head to my toes. "I'm glad you like it. Hizashi won't be home until later tonight, but he has a few gifts for you. Also, the bathroom's right there. You have to pull up on the handle for the water to turn on. I'm tired though and it's," Aizawa said, pointing to a white door on the other side of the hall.

"Almost 11 and it's been a long day. Go to bed, we'll finish the tour tomorrow, though my room is just at the end of the hall, don't hesitate to come get me if you need something. Good night, problem child." Aizawa said, patting my head before continuing down the hall. "Good night Aizawa. Thank you again." I replied, turning around to the pretty room arranged for my use. "Well, let's do this." I said to myself, closing the door. I pulled off my bag off my shoulder, setting it on the bed. I grabbed my bag, pulling out my shirts and putting them in a drawer, doing the same for each assortment of clothing. I hung up my two other hoodies in the small closet.

I plugged my charger into the wall and used it on my phone. It was pretty much dead from this morning. I grabbed out a pair of pajamas, that I had just put away, and put them on. I didn't know what to do with my dirty clothes, so I put them on the floor in a somewhat neat pile. My bandages were soiled with blood. I quickly finished changing before walking to the bathroom, using my light to illuminate the hall. I walked in a looked at the shelves set up, not finding anything but band-aids. I looked in some of the drawers, again, not finding anything that would work. "I mean, if I have to, I'll use the ones I brought, but those are for my dorm so I'd like to maybe not." I whispered to myself.

I moved to the cabinets under the sink, only able to open them before I heard, "If you're looking for razors or anything sharp, you won't find any in here." I flinched, and ended up smacking my head in the ledge of the counter. "Ow." I hissed grabbing my head as I looked over my shoulder. I see Mic standing there in his hero costume, his arms crossed as he leaned against the door frame, his posture telling me he was exhausted. "Oh, no! I was looking for bandages actually." I explained, my head now throbbing from being slammed against something so hard. "Oh, okay. They're in the cabinets you were opening. In the back, the red packaging." Mic said, coming in and grabbing them.

"See?" The blonde asked, showing the wrappings to me. "Hey, we get the same brand!" I said, smiling a bit grabbing the roles of fabric. "Cool, you want some help?" Mic asked, crouching down before plopping on his butt. "Nah, I've gotten pretty good at it over these past four months." I said, smiling until I realized how sad that was. "Four months and we only found out like four-five days ago." Mic sighed looking disappointed, whether it was in himself or me was unclear.

"Sorry. I know I should've gone to someone, but to be perfectly honest, I didn't want to, still don't want to. I only do it because if I don't, I get in trouble and make people worry. It sucks." I said, tearing the plastic off. "Well, there's not much we can do if you don't want help but we're here if you ever need anything." Mic said, taking his glasses and jacket off. "You look tired, like really tired." I said, kind of worried for the man. "Yeah, a lot's happened today, but talking to you makes the good things go up, so I don't mind." Mic said.

Only know am I realizing that he hasn't gotten real loud today, just above an inside voice, no screaming. "Then go to bed, silly. I can do this on my own." I smiled, looking at how Mic had a hunched back and his legs were just laying there, limp as cooked noodles. "Yeah, I will. I just want to make sure you get to bed. Wouldn't want you up all night." Mic sighed, his eyes getting more and more droopy. "Okay then. Well I'm off to bed, you should head there too." I said standing up before I finished wrapping up my arms.

"What? But you haven't finished." Mic said, sitting up straight and looking at me oddly. "I'll finish in my room and then head to bed, I won't be up long. Plus, if I'm keeping you awake, then I'm just being bothersome. Go to bed Mic, I'll see you in the morning." I said, grabbing the other three bandages and taking them to my room. "Good night Little Listener." I heard Mic mumble from the door at the end of the hall.

"Night." I whisper-yelled back, closing my door afterwards. I finished wrapping my wrists before starting and finishing my legs. I looked at my phone, seeing it was almost mid-night. I yawned, realizing that I still have to sleep. I turned off the lights as slipped under the soft sheets laid out on the bed, falling to sleep before I could properly process it.
