23 ~ Stupid Note! Damn Tears!

Midoriya's POV

We walked into the kitchen a bit after Kacchan did. "What do you want to eat? " I asked Todoroki, looking in the fridge for something to eat. I didn't get a response, which was kind of odd for Todoroki. I turned around to see what was up and I saw Todoroki spacing out.

I walked towards him and nudged his shoulder, more high bicep, 'cause I'm short, making him flinch and look at me. "Oh, yeah?" Todoroki said, obviously not paying attention to what I had just said. "I asked what you wanted to eat." I restated my question. "Ah, sorry. Let's have pancakes." Todoroki said, a small smile pulling on his lips.

I walked over to the counter and cupboards, grabbing everything I'd need. "Why are so spacey all the sudden?" I asked as I grabbed a plastic bowl. "Hm?" Todoroki asked, returning to Earth. I sighed, but the bowl on the counter. I walked up to him and put my hands on his face. I stood on my tipie-toes, making myself a bit taller, but still shorter than Todoroki. "What's. Wrong?" I asked, hopefully sounding as sincere as I was.

"What are you talking about?" Todoroki asked, dodging my question. "You've been all spacey since we talked to Kacchan after I ran into him." I explained, not letting him off the hook quite yet. "I'll tell you if you tell me what this is about." Todoroki replied, holding the note between his fingers. It was no longer folded and I started to panic. "Y-You Read I-It?!" I asked, stumbling on my words.

"Yeah. You kept saying later and I was really curious." Todoroki explained, rubbing the back of his neck. I could feel anger and sadness, but mostly I felt fear. 'I wasn't ready for him to read that. What if he hates me now? What if he blames himself? Is he mad? What do I do?' My thoughts were cut short by a tear running down my cheek, I reached up my hand to wipe it away. "Uh, Hey! You're crying again! What did I do?" Todoroki asked, looking a bit more panicked then normal.

"Stupid, I wanted to read it with you and explain everything. You butt head." I said, wiping the escaping tears. "God, just stop flowing!" I yelled at myself, my tears disobey and continued falling down my cheeks. I heard Todoroki chuckle and I looked up. He had his cheeks puffed and his arms around his stomach, obviously trying not to laugh. "This isn't funny!" I reprimanded as my eyes were still leaking.

"Ah! Stop it!" I yelled, vainly continuing to wiping away the tears. "What is going on in here?" I looked over Todoroki's shoulder and saw Iida standing there, looking thoroughly confused. "I just started cry for no reason and now I can't stop. Todo's no help as he's just laughing at me. UGH! Stop Falling!" I explained before yelling again and wiping my face.

I hear Iida chuckle and see him leaning on a wall, back to me. I could see his shoulders shaking up and down. "Why are you laughing?! This is a problem!" I said, more tears falling from my eyes. More of my classmates walked in and as I explained to them, they'd start laughing too.

"This is not funny! I can't stop crying!" I complained as my face started getting sore. "What on Earth?" I looked to the doorway of the kitchen. I saw Denki, Mina, and Sero looking so confused it was almost funny. "See, I started crying out of nowhere and now the tears are endless. They won't stop!" I explained, getting beyond annoyed. Mina and Sero raised their eyebrows and Denki walked towards me, putting his hand in my right shoulder.

"I understand, dude. I start crying and then I'm sitting there for hours, even after I calm down, just crying." Kaminari said, looking dead serious. I started laughing, not expecting him to say something like that. "Hey! You were mad when they were laughing at you and you're laughing at me for the same reason everyone was laughing at you." Kaminari spoke, acting offended but really wasn't.

"Dammit Kaminari, now I'm crying and laughing!" I said, more annoying tear drops falling. "It's not funny, but I'm laughing!" I said, trying to see the sense in all of this. "Hey, have any of you giggling girls seen Midoriya, he's not in his roo- why are you crying?" Aizawa walked in and asked. I groaned and explained it for what felt like the twentieth time.

Aizawa raised his head and lowered it. "Hm, did something happen?" Aizawa asked. 'Finally, someone might know how to cure this!' I thought excitedly. "Nothing all too important. I mean, I was getting ready to cook and I was talking to Todo and then he told me he had- wait." I stopped before anything more could come out. I looked to Todoroki and then to Aizawa and then back to Todoroki.

"You meanie!" I said, feeling like my vocabulary had turned into one of a child's. "I'm sorry?" Todoroki said, more as a question. I slowly pulled my bottom lip over my top, pouting at Todoroki. Kacchan walked in, Kirishima as well.

"Um, Todobroki. Why is Midoriya pouting at you?" Kirishima asked. Kacchan elbowed him in the ribs and gave him a weird looking look. "Ow! And crying?" Kirishima asked, rubbing his rib, raising an eyebrow. Todoroki turns and looks at him. "Well, funny story actually," Todoroki started. "I started crying and now I can't stop! I blame that idiot!" I explained once again, pointing at Todoroki. Kirishima started giggling and Kacchan gave me a funky look.

"What'd the Half n' Half Bastard do?" Kacchan asked, actually not yelling. "He read the no- Recipe out loud before I could even finish getting everything out." I said, raising my voice a bit after almost messing up, realizing almost the whole class was still in the kitchen. I watched everyone else out of the corner of my eye. Some look confused or suspicious while others totally just went along with it.

"Oh dude! That's so mean!" Kaminari said, looking at Todoroki and walking to me. The electric boy wrapped his arm around me, making me stiffen. "Don't worry you precious little cinnamon roll, I'll read it to you. Todoroki is such a big meanie. There there." Kaminari said, patting my head. 'What an idiot.' I thought, letting him do whatever he was doing.
