Midoriya's POV

I felt so broken and stupid. I cried and cried as Todoroki tried his hand at calming me. "It's okay. We can take you home tomorrow. It'll be okay. Shh." Everything hurts so bad. "No! You're wrong!" I hollered, pushing Todoroki off me. "My mom's gone! It's not the same! How... What do I do?" I started out yelling, but after choking on my sobs, it turned to broken mumbles. I looked down at the floor, feeling absolutely awful. My knees buckled under me and I just let it happen.

My knees slammed into my carpeted floor, making me sob harder. "Izuku!" Todoroki said, his voice laced with worry. "Are you okay? Here, let's get you to the bed." Todoroki picked me up, brushing against my legs. "O-Ow." I cried out weakly, not even fighting back.

Todoroki's POV

Midoriya cried out quietly as I picked him up bridal style. "Sorry." I mumbled quickly, walking him to his bed and setting him down on it. I bent down, pretty much face to face with his knees. "May I?" I asked, grabbing the bottom of his pants leg. Midoriya made no movement to say no so I assumed that it was okay. I carefully pulled up the blood soaked sweats.

I was half surprised that there was bandages; covered in blood, but there. "I'll be right back, don't move." I said, standing up and making my way to his bathroom. I opened a few of the drawers before opening the cabinet below the sink, finally finding what I was looking for below the sink.

I grabbed a few clean bandages, some anti-bacterial, gauze, and a damp washcloth. I stood back up and made my way back into his room. Midoriya had brought the leg that I had uncovered up and was peeling off the soaked wrappings on it. He scrunched up his nose and closed his eyes and the bandages squelched. I walked over, putting my hand over his. "Let me." I said, trying to avoid making him irritated.

Midoriya turned his head away from me, his eyebrows furrowing slightly. I continued removing the soaked cloth, understanding why he was cringing at the sound. Once it was all off, I grabbed the garbage can by his desk and threw it away. I looked at his leg, but couldn't see great as it it was covered in blood. "This is going to hurt, I'm so sorry." I mumbled to the greenette while grabbing the damp washcloth.

I gently slid the cloth down his leg, feeling bad as he flinched, hissed, and tensed. His tears falling onto his knees and my hands didn't make me feel any less guilty. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, Mido." I said, my heart aching at each flinch and tear. "M-Me too." Midoriya responded. I froze. "What're you sorry for? I'm the one making you cry." I said, trailing off. "For making you worry and take care of me." Midoriya mumbled, looking at his hands, which were now placed in his lap.

I had just about finished his leg, seeing all of the cuts, some deeper than others. I stared as tears started filling my eyes. "I made you cry again." I looked up seeing Midoriya holding his own hands so hard his knuckles were turning white and bleeding. "H-Hey stop. I'm crying 'cause when I nicked myself shaving, it makes me want to cry and seeing how deep these are... well, it looks painful." I said, looking back down to his shins.

"So, you're not mad?" He asked, his face lighting up just a bit. "No, I'm pissed. At myself mostly." I said, taking some of the antibacterial and poring it onto the gauze. "This is going to hurt like hell." I warned, putting the large piece of gauze on his shin. Midoriya hissed and flexed his leg. I quickly grabbed one of the wraps, rolling it around his leg.

I was about to ask if I could roll up his other when he stood up and took them off completely. I felt myself warming up as he sat back down. "Better now than later." Midoriya said, catching my attention. His face was so red, Kirishima's hair due was put to shame. "You look like a strawberry." I mumbled, seeing the resemblance.

"W-What?" He asked, the red not toning down in the slightest. "You look like a strawberry. I mean, your face was all red and you have green hair. Plus are as sweet as one too so..." I said louder so he could hear, trailing off at the end. "Too bad. You can't eat me." Midoriya said with more confidence than I ever saw coming.

"W-What?!" I said, taking my turn to be embarrassed. "Hm? ... That's not what I meant!" Midoriya yelled at me, falling back and slapping his hands over his now very red face. I laughed at his reaction looking back at his leg. "Can... Can I start with the next leg now?" I asked, seeing as I hadn't done anything. "Whatever, just make it fast." Midoriya mumbled into his hands.

"Yeah, okay." I said, starting to do the same thing I did with the previous leg. Every flinch, hiss, and cry broke my heart just a little. "Sorry." I said, as I was started wrapping his shin. Midoriya hummed but didn't move. I looked up at him, his arm now covered his eyes as he was still laid back. My memories with him started flooding my head but one caught my attention. "Hey, can I get you to take off your shirt?" I asked, what for him must have been, out of the blue.

Midoriya looked at me with an odd, questioning look. "Okay." He said, sitting up and took off his sweatshirt. His sides were only scars and he still extremely thin. 'I can't believe it actually worked.' I thought, looking at his ribs. "What? Is there something there?" Midoriya asked. I looked at him, smiling. "There's nothing there." I said, feeling more than just giddy. "What? You've lost me." Midoriya said, raising one eyebrow at me.

"Remember how I kissed your sides and said that you'd never cut them again? Well, you haven't cut them!" I said, smiling like a little kid. "Hm? Oh, I guess you're right." Midoriya said, his eyes suddenly going big. "What in the world? How did you do that? You must be magic and also, this isn't fair." Midoriya asked, and ended up glaring at me.

"It's a subconscious occurrence. You had it in the back of your mind as you were cutting, huh? Also what's not fair?" I asked, feeling quite proud and confused. "Not sure what I was thinking. I'm only in my boxers and you're still completely dressed, it's not fair that you get to see my body but I don't get to see yours." Midoriya responded, looking down at his hands, his hair covering his face. Though his ears were proving just how embarrassed he was.

I processed what he just said and ended up laughing. "Really? Okay then." I laughed, standing up and beginning to remove my own shirt. Midoriya looks back up at me and only grew redder. He stares at me, his eyes running up and down my torso. "Take a picture, it'll last longer." I said unknowingly until he quickly pulled out his phone and actually took a picture. "Ah! You were actually smiling too!" Midoriya said happily, looking at the picture, his eyes practically sparkling.
