Up here mommy

I look up to the sky and see the glow even bright now.

I miss you mommy

My eyes well up even more as my throat tightens "A-and i...I miss you" I breathe slowly trying to calm myself down

Daddy didn't wanna replace me. Stop thinking that mommy.

"I can't help it" I wipe a tear away

I'm your past mommy, Michael will always be your future.

"You're my past, present and future baby girl" I look up to the sky as tears roll down my face

I love you mommy, but I want you to move on. I want you to be happy with daddy, to make you happy is all that he wants.

"I know Sarabi" I sigh and look back down at my lap

Daddy didn't mean what he said at the table, you're gorgeous and he thinks that too.

I chuckle softly "I'm sure"

He wants to marry you

I choke when I hear my daughter say that to me "h-how do you know?"

Daddy talks to me too. Mainly when he's at the studio writing. Or before bed when he can't sleep.

"What does he say?" I ask curiously

How much he loves you. That he loves and misses me.
He said he wants to marry you soon mommy.

"How soon?" I ask, hoping for answers

He didn't tell me.

"Do you speak to him too?" I look up at the sky smiling slowly

I try to, but he never stops talking that man. You cope very well mommy

I chuckle at her and nod "tell me about it"

Move on mom. Don't hold on to me forever, if you ever need to talk I'm here...just look up, night or day- I'll be watching over you. I'll be here.

"Nice little reference to your daddy and uncles' song" I giggle

Daddy sings it to me all the time

"That's cute" I confess

Now go back in there with your family and have fun. It's New Years go have fun. Oh and stop flirting with uncle randy to annoy daddy. He thinks he's not worth your time and love- but we all know you couldn't love anyone like you do daddy

"You're right" I nod my head

I love you, mommy

"I love you too, Sarabi"

Silence.

And again she leaves me.
I've had many experiences like this where I can talk to my baby. And it's the most rewarding thing ever.
I get up from the chair and walk inside, everyone continues talking and eating—they're eating pudding now. I go up behind Michael and kiss his cheek "I'm sorry" I whisper. He looks up at me with a smile, my hair is hanging over his face "no I'm sorry" he replies in a whisper
He strains his neck trying to kiss me, I lower my face and kiss his lips softly with passion making him smile into the kiss
"Alright love birds" Janet giggles
I sit on my seat in the middle of Randy and Michael, Michael immediately puts his hand on my thigh and strokes my thighs. I do the same and sit forward on the chair stroking his leg. He shifts around in his seat indicating to me that he's getting horny making me smirk to myself
"Are you hungry now?" Jackie questions loud enough for me to hear because the kids are making loud noises and giggling
I shake my head "no I'm good, I've lost my appetite" I smile making him nod "okay"
