Michael's PoV         16th July 1994

London, UK (night 2)

I watch her on the stage in the most beautiful outfit as she sings her heart out, making her seem most vulnerable on stage.
"Okay I'm gonna change it up a bit..." she smiled softly to the crowd, you could already see tears beginning to fall.
"I've only sang this a few times on tour so far, and the reaction has been beautiful. I'm so honoured ya'll love my music!" She bowed to the crowd. She then let out a shaky sigh and carried on talking "if ya'll have ever been heartbroken raise your hand.."

She looked around the stadium and spoke again "if ya'll have ever loved someone so much it actually hurts.. raise your hand"

"I want you to sing along if you know the words" she smiled to the crowd and stood still waiting for the music to begin.

"I heard that you're settled down
That you found a girl and you're married now—" she sung brokenly as she removed a piece of hair from her face... she turned to the right wing of the stage where I was stood and a tear fell out of her eye... I look down and let a tear fall from my eye also.

I've broken her.

"IIIII heard that your dreams came true
Guess she gave you things, I didn't g-give to you" her voice cracked making me look up.
She's on her knees swaying around as the crowd wave their hands gently.

Beyoncé's PoV
"Oooooldddd friend, why are you so shhyyyyy?
Ain't like you to hold back or hide from the lightttt
I hate to turn up out of the blue, uninvited
But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it
I had hoped you'd see my face
And that you'd be reminded that for me, it isn't overrr" I sing trying not to let my voice crack...

"I want ya'll to welcome to the stage... George Michael!!" I greet a good friend of mine onto the stage to sing with me
The crowd goes wild as he walks on in a black suit and red tie.
"Sing it London!" I encourage holding my microphone out to the crowd, George grabbed my hand and pulled me up wrapping a arm around my waist as we sung together.

"Never mind, I'll find someone like youuuuuu
I wish nothing but the best for youuuuuu, toooooo
"Don't forget me, " I beg
"I'll remember, " you said
Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts insteaaaaad" I sing
"Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead
You know how the time flies
Only yesterday was the time of our lives" George sings perfectly giving my voice a break

"We were born and raised in a summer haze
Bound by the surprise of our glory days" I sing and start walking away from George to own the stage and make a performance
" i hate to turn up out of the blue, uninvited
But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it
I had hoped you'd see my face
And that you'd be reminded that for me, it isn't over"

"Sing London" George encouraged pointing his microphone to the crowd as I sung.
"Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you, too
"Don't forget me, " I begged
"I'll remember, " you said
Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead"

"Siiing" I smile wiping my tears away
The crowd sings in harmony together
"Nothing compares, no worries or cares
Regrets and mistakes, they're memories made
Who would have known how bittersweet this would taste?"

The song slows down and quietens so I can sing
"Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you
"Don't forget me, " I beg
"I'll remember, " you said
Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts insteaddddd"

I nod at George letting him know I can't sing anymore
"Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you, too
"Don't forget me, " I begged
"I'll remember, " you said
Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead
Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead"
