When Pepper was going down the stairs to Tony's lab she heard a very high pitched scream and someone scrambling onto a table.
She carefully opened the door and saw her husband on the table.
"Why are you standing up there?"
Pepper asked.
"I live in this house, you know, I can stand wherever I wish to-"
"Where's the spider?"
Pepper cut him off.
"iT's UnDeR tHe TaBlE, pLeAsE gEt It!"
Pepper rolled her eyes but looked under the table anyway.
Under the table, was a sleeping Peter.
"Tony."
"Yes."
"It's just Peter."
"And he's part spider!"
Pepper rolled her eyes but crawled under the table to grab their son.
"Goodnight Tony. Please be in bed before 4am."
"No promises!"
Tony shouted before going back to work.
Pepper rolled her eyes and walked out of the lab carrying her 16 year old son.
