25. Humiliation

"Yo dude! Did you hear that Lego is releasing a new set?"
Ned asked, rushing up to Peter. (I don't know ok just go with it)

"Yeah!"
Peter said, closing his locker.

The two friends walked out without noticing Flash creeping up behind them.

Flash opened his bottle and dumped the contents into Peter's head.

Everyone started laughing at the sight of the drenched teenager.

"Hah! Penis Parker!"
Flash taunted.

Peter just ignored him and walked out to the car that Happy was waiting for him in.

"Hey kid."
Happy said.

"Hi Happy."
Peter said, not talking about his day.

Happy looked in the mirror to see if the teen was alright and saw that he was drenched in a liquid.

He put the window up that separated the back to the front and phoned Tony.

"What?"
Tony asked.

"Somethings up with the kid."
Happy said.

"Can he hear us?"

"No. It's soundproof."
Happy said.

"I'll see what's up when he gets here."
Tony hanged up and Happy concentrated on driving.

"Hey Mr Stark."
Peter said unenthusiastically.

"What's wrong kid? Usually you're bouncing off the walls."
Tony said.

"It's nothing."

"It's not nothing Pete. You're covered in a liquid!"
Tony shouted.

"Sorry. I'll go change."

"No wait-"
By that time, the teen had already ran out the room.

"FRI, what's wrong with Peter?"
Tony asked.

"He got drenched with water by a classmate called Eugene 'Flash' Thompson."
FRIDAY said.

"Thanks baby girl!"
Tony said.

Tony knocked on Peter's door to his room in the compound.

"Peter? Can I come in?"
Tony asked.

A muffled 'No' was heard.

"Why not?"

No answer.

"Peter? Can I come in please?"

A soft click was heard and Tony opened the door.

"Peter? What happened?"
Tony asked softly.

"Nothing Mr Stark."
Peter said.

"It's clearly not nothing kid. If you tell me, I won't tell anyone else. Pinky promise."
Tony said, holding out his left pinky.

Peter peeked out from underneath the quilt and linked his pinky with Tony's one. He let go and sat up properly.

"Can you tell me what happened?"
Tony asked.

"It's stupid."
Peter said.

"It's not stupid if it hurt you kid."

"There's this boy called Flash in my class, he just calls me stupid names and stuff, maybe hits me but usually that's it but today he poured his water over me and everyone laughed at me. Everyone Mr Stark! Even Ned."

Tony hugged the teenager.

"It's fine. If that happened to me, I would just laugh it off and walk away."
Tony said.

"But it's not that easy Mr Stark. He's been bullying me for years."
Peter said.

"How long kid?"

"Four years Mr Stark."
Peter mumbled.

Tony held the kid tighter.

"It's fine. Just punch that kid in the nose and he'll leave you alone."

"Ok."

I didn't like that one as much as the others but oh well.
