Eddie
It'd been a bloody month since no word came on my aunt. No word. Ginny wouldn't say anything. Harry wouldn't either. I even plucked up the courage to demand an answer but no one had any. What Nancy had said in the train still sent me through a thought process but when I was getting nowhere with that I gave up. The idea was insane. Werewolf? No chance.
It was getting late in the evening when I realized we had the DA meet. I headed out for it but was interrupted by Seamus Finnigan. He gave me a parchment and left, saying that it was from Professor Dumbledore.
I headed for his office, ready for some information on my aunt. Any word would do for me. Even if it wasn't a good one.
"Sugar Quills." I spoke and the Gargoyle started rotating. Jumping on the steps and i came to his door and knocked.
"Come in!" I heard and entered. I'd just shut the door, looking at me feet when I turned up to find Professor Dumbledore standing on the steps of his office with a familiar woman.
"Aunt?" I whispered. She was standing tall and staring at me teary eyed. Her smile was breaking and she seemed apologetic as well. I ran over to her and hugged her tight. She was alive. She was real. She was right in front of me.
"What happened to you?" I asked moving back.
"They took me but... but its alright now. The order found me. Ginny Weasley told me you were alright and oh, I was so relieved."
"Ginny brought you home?"
"She was there." She nodded. I looked over at Professor Dumbledore, who nodded. I grinned and hugged her again.
"Write to me, will you?" I asked. I wanted the truth.
"I will, I promise." She kissed the top of my head.
"Wait, where will you go? Its surely not safe for you to go back home."
"No. She will be staying with the Order for a while until she finds a new place."
I felt bad for her. She didn't want to, I could tell but she had to. She really had to. She nodded.
"Thank you, Professor Dumbledore." She nodded.
"Im so glad you're alright." I hugged her again. She did the same and then released me. She headed for the chimney and I watched her disappear but the smile on my face didn't.
"Thank you." I nodded at Professor Dumbledore and headed for the door, excitedly. I ran out into the corridor and straight for the seventh floor to the DA meet. As I entered, I found Nigel and Nancy but no Harry or Ginny.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Ginny brought in an auror today. He was pretty cool. Battled Harry tooth to nail." Nigel grinned.
"You seem happy." Nancy noticed.
"She brought her home. My aunt's back." I spoke happily.
"Congratulations!" Nancy squeaked happily and I gave her a side hug. Nigel tapped my shoulder.
"Duel?" Nigel offered.
"Lets do it."
We stood at a distance with Nancy staring between. Raising my wand in excitement, I did something he wasn't expecting. I levitated him. He seemed at an imbalance at first and then glared at me.
Soon, I dropped him back to the floor and when he got up, I stunned him. He dropped back and Nancy chuckled.
Nigel nodded with a frown standing and suddenly, I flashed away to the ground, hitting my bottom hard on the floor.
