(GILBERT)

"Can I assume everything has been well taken care of by now?" My husband asked after he handed me a glass of whisky.

A long and interesting day is finally coming to an end. I have checked the boys in Master Robin's room while my husband was in his shower. Both boys are now safely asleep in one bed. That...what merits as a good day for me and Zane.

When our boys are safely asleep in our home.

"There's still some minor loose details to tie but I can safely say we have successfully conquered that hurdle." I replied confidently before letting my glass clink with Zane's.

"What minor loose details?" My husband frowned in curiosity.

I rolled my eyes on him. Trust a banker to be utterly meticulous about these kind of thing. Zane wants to run a neat comb through this investigation on the accident that killed the Tañadas to make sure everything was done according to his plans.

Good thing for me, I am also meticulous. "I have asked for a copy of the investigation report. I will go through it carefully to make sure that if Blu will ever demand to see it, he won't see anything that will raise his suspicion anew. I think the boy finally accepted the fact that it was an accident that killed his parents."

"Which is the truth. It was an accident that indeed killed his parents," my husband said.

"Yes," I smiled as I watch Zane took a sip on his drink. "Its a good thing that you decided to mess up both the driver and the truck. Once the officers investigating the case learned that the driver had a stroke while behind the wheel, they focused on that instead of looking deeper into the doctored papers of the truck inspection." I said.

"I covered all my bases," Zane said. "Also, the driver who came too close to the truck that made the driver panicked and make a hard swerve has finally left the country." He added.

"Good," I nodded my approval on that.

It was such an elaborate scene, what Zane painted to finally take out the last reason why Master Robin couldn't have Blu close by to help Master Robin with his condition.

"A month before the accident, Robin has been having nightmares almost every night. His body is starting to get affected with his panic attacks and lack of sleep. He was drowning and having Blu live on the same house with him is the only way to save Robin. And I was right, since Blu started living here, Robin's condition is getting better and better. Robin is happier and healthier than ever before. On his last check up, the doctors told me that this is the healthiest Robin has ever been. I don't regret anything," Zane's satisfied smile conveyed how unremorseful he is for what he has done to get Blu to live with us more than the words he used.

I don't blame Zane for being unremorseful, he never hide his desire to keep Robin alive no matter who he has to eliminate or buy for it to happen. That has always been Zane's goal...to keep his nephew alive and give Master Robin a happy life. A normal life as much as possible.

So when Master Robin's health turned for the worst a month before the accident that killed Blu's parents happened...Zane made a decision to finally bring Blu into our home to help Master Robin heal.

To be able to do that, Zane had to eliminate the ultimate complication thats stopping it from happening: Blu's parents.

Luis and Denise Tañada denied Zane's request to get Blu as close as possible to Master Robin. Blu's parents schemed to migrate abroad to take Blu away from the Akages' reach. About the biggest mistake they have ever thought of doing. There is no place on Earth the Akages couldn't reach. Thinking they can outrun Zane Akage was a mistake Blu's parents decided to make. A fatal mistake that proved to be their last.
