(ZANE AKAGE)

While it was quiet in the mansion, I started calling people and signing documents to clean my father's desks of work. I had to do it if I want to shanghai my whole family back to the Philippines and maybe we can start processing everything that happened here in Japan.

I want to take the boys away from this place and hope they will calm down once they are in their familiar surroundings.

I looked at my cellphone placed on top of the desk. I received a message there an hour ago saying that Robin found his way to Mr.Asa's restaurant and is now with his friend Ichiro. I told my people to keep on tailing Robin and make sure that my nephew is safe at all times.

He might be giving me headaches now but he is still my precious nephew. I don't want anything untowards to happen to Robin.

To be honest, I am more worried about Blu. My adoptive son has stayed in his room and won't even join us for dinner. I hope that Gilbert managed to convince Blu to eat something.

I sighed, closed my eyes and massaged the bridge of my nose. I stayed like that while contemplating what I could have done differently to avoid getting the boys hurt. None has come to mind. I always knew the truth will hit them hard. I am just glad that it hit them at a time where both boys had no choice but to choose me and Gilbert because we are the safer bets for them.

Robin will never go to his mother. Nor will my nephew choose to go to his father. Robin might hate me but I know he still loath his parents more than his Uncle Zane. For now, Robin will stay with me. Besides, I have the ultimate weapon to make sure Robin will stay under my guardianship. I have Blu.

Blu will stay with me and Gilbert. We legally adopted him already. He is only sixteen. Like it or not, we are his parents. Besides, Blu could be reason with. He might be suspicious of me or he might even hate me but I can reason with Blu. I can ask him to endure being under our care until he turned eighteen and then we will see what we can do for him to start being independent.

I don't care if they act sullen in front of me. Or give me the cold shoulders. As long as they live under the same roof with me and Gilbert until they can be trusted to fend for themselves, I am okay with that. I just need the boys to stay until they are strong enough to be on their own. Until Robin heal. Until Blu proved to me that he can be responsible for himself.

And then after that...

After that...

"After that..." I sighed. "What will we do after that?"

"What are you thinking about?" Gilbert's voice made me open my eyes. I stared at my husband standing by the side of the desk. Gilbert carefully placed a cup of coffee in the desk. "What are you thinking too deeply about?"

"What will we do once the boys left our nest?" I asked my husband. "What then?"

"Then you are finally free. You finally paid your debt to them." Gilbert said.

"So that's it?" I cannot believe that will be the end of it. "Isn't that a little anti-climatic?"

"Well, what do you want from them? Its not like you can force them to inherit your family's legacy. Its not like you will force them to take it. Is that your plan? To insist on the boys to inherit the banks?"

"What? No. I don't want unwilling heirs. I promised that the boys could do and be whoever and whatever they want to be. I tried suppressing my sexuality and ambitions when I was their age. I don't want that for them." I said.

"Good," Gilbert gave me a satisfied nod.

"But still...who will manage our fortune after I die?" I asked my husband. "I think I still need an heir I can train to take the reins once I can't do it anymore. We will need more children, Gilbert."
