(ROBIN)
"What happened?" Gabe, Sander and Tim pulled me into an empty Science room and are now staring at me like I'm a specimen under a microscope.
Gabe asked the question so I focused my eyes on him. "What do you mean, what happened? That happened. I kissed AnneMarie. Blu's bestfriend."
Sander groaned in dismay. "There are about 200 people in that club. You could have kissed any of them and you ended up smooching Blu's bestfriend? Do you see the problem here?"
"Of course he can see the problem. Robin is not stupid," Gabe came to my defense, albeit reluctantly. He sure looked uneasy while defending me.
"I won't bet on that," Tim said while scratching his chin. "I think Robin is stupid."
I rolled my eyes on them, "Guys, relax. Nothing is going on here. It's just a kiss..."
"Really?" Gabe looked doubtful. "Then why do I sense like you are about to start some trouble. Robin...just tell us what's going on and we will help..."
"I think this has something to do with his fight with Blu on the restroom of that club," Tim said. "Sander and I were there but we didn't hear much. We just knew that they fought when Blu came out looking pale and sick,"
"Did you and Blu fight?" Gabe turned to me again.
"I will handle it," I inwardly winced when I gave my friends the same words I gave to my Uncle. So much for handling things, it's spiraling.
Sander's chuckle didn't held any humor on it. "He is doomed. Our team is doomed next year. This is the person you will left the captaincy to, Gabe. You can still change your mind,"
"Should I?" Gabe gave me a thoughtful look.
"I still volunteer myself for the work," Tim raised his hand. Sander moaned this time, "Oh great, our choices for captain next year is dumb and dumber. I give up." He sounded done indeed.
I decided to control the situation. "Guys, I said relax. I'll handle it."
"How?" Sander asked the most difficult question. The thing I hope they will never ask. I blinked at them in silence while thinking of a way to answer that and dismay colored Gabe's face. "That's very reassuring, Robin. The silence calmed me down," he said sardonically.
"And the blinking was a nice touch but doesn't really shouts confidence to me," Tim laughed. Then he gave us confused looks. "Why am I laughing? This situation is stupid."
"You laughed because you are stupid. Ugh!" Sander is clearly stressed.
I waved my hands at them. "Guys, I said relax. I will handle this. This won't change anything about our chances in the Nationals. This is just..."
"Pure drama." Gabe glowered at me. His handsome face hardening. "Look, I won't tell you guys how to conduct your individual love life. I won't because I'm no expert in it. Fuck knows I've been in messed up situations regarding dating and fucking people. But having said that...we are family here. We are a team. If you are having a hard time, talk to us Robin."
The offer was tempting but how do one exactly tell others that you are being blackmailed? And that you are letting yourself willingly tangled in that blackmail because shit has hit the fan and Blu doesn't love me...
Fuck! Blu doesn't love me and now I'm going stir crazy.
I sighed and made a decision. If this is pure drama in Gabe's eyes, then fine...I will blow it up to a full soap opera. I turned away from my teammates and walked away from them.
