(BLU)

So early and there is an exciting chaos already happening inside our room. All because of a little packet of chocolate kisses and the little note attached to it.

"Wishing you a lovely sweet day, signed R. Ahhhh!" Shiela and Denise shrieked in giddiness while reading the note attached to the chocolates.

"Who could that "R" be?" Denise poked a teasing finger at AnneMarie's side. "That's it! He likes you. Robin Akage likes you,"

"Are we sure Robin sent this? Maybe someone is just pranking me. Playing a game with me," AnneMarie looked at the chocolate in doubt. "How did Robin knows that I like this brand of chocolate?" AnneMarie looked at me. "Blu...?"

"I didn't tell him anything," I said. And why would I? "And it's quite easy to know if that came from Robin. Check his handwriting," I suggested. I winced inwardly. Why am I suggesting things now...ugh! What is wrong with me?

"You check it," Shiela almost shoved the note up my nose. "You must know Robin's handwriting. You live with him."

I stared at the note and my heart sunk. I nodded. "It's his handwriting." I said.

"Really?" AnneMarie's whole face lit up. I nodded again. Denise and Shiela started congratulating AnneMarie for "snagging" the most dateable guy in St.Anne.

I'm not happy with this.

"I'm happy with this," AnneMarie shook the packet of chocolates Robin sent to her. "But I will not get my hopes up. I think my heart won't be able to take it if Robin is just being nice and I misinterpret it. That will be humiliating among other things."

"But he never sent anyone chocolates. He never does that to anyone..." Shiela insisted.

He commissioned a fucking aquarium for me. I want to shout that but I decided to study my notes and grip my pen tightly.

This is driving me insane.

"Still...I want to keep my heart safe." AnneMarie sighed. "What do you think, Blu?"

"What?" I looked up to meet her eyes. "Oh. I...uhm..." I cannot form anything to say.

"Blu," I almost jumped when Denise get right into my face. "You should put on a nice word about AnneMarie to Robin and his Uncle. You live with them, help a friend out."

"She is right, Blu." Shiela agreed with Denise. "And just imagine, once Robin and AnneMarie started dating, we will finally be free of seeing her so lovestruck at Robin. The days of looking disgustedly in love while daydreaming will be over."

"Hey! I don't daydream about Robin," AnneMarie protested while blushing.

"You do!" Shiela and Denise said together before the three girls laugh.

I think I am in hell. I look around to seek an inspiration to escape this twilight zone.

"Roy! You are being quiet," I nudged Roy from looking lost in his seat behind mine.

"Huh?" Roy's eyes focused on me before he sighed. "Is this about Robin and AnneMarie? I think they suit each other..."

"Really?" AnneMarie smiled brightly again. "Oh Roy, that's nice of you to think so. And I agree, I think Robin and I will suit each other pretty well..."

I don't think so.

I forced my mind to stop thinking before I start voicing out my thoughts. I just look down at my notes again and tried my best to block the noises the girls are making because of Robin and his chocolates.
