(BLU)

I went to Robin's room when he didn't come to mine. I found him already in his bed, reading something while all the lights are on. I stood by the foot of his bed and stared at him, waiting to see what he has to say.

Robin looked up from the sports magazine that he is reading to me. "What do you want?" He asked in a bored tone.

"Are we sleeping here?" I thought it's our turn to sleep in my room tonight.

"No," Robin shook his head. "We are not sleeping here tonight. At least not you. I would like to sleep alone," he said.

I nodded. "Is this you sulking because I said no to going to the swimming team's party?"

"No," Robin gave me a sulky look. "This is me telling you that I want to sleep alone tonight," he added in the same surly tone.

Okay, there are two ways in which I can let this situation go. One, I leave the room and let Robin stew in his surliness. Or two, change my mind and nod to attend his team's party. I don't know yet which one is the worse path to take but I know both will be bad.

So I decided to engage Robin more. Not because I'm giving in but because I want to know what he wants to prove by asking me to go to that party with him.

"Why does it mean so much to you that I'm there in that party?" I asked him. "I supported you in the Swim Meet. I was there, I cheered for you...wasn't that enough?"

Robin stared at me. "Was it enough for you?" He asked me back.

I nodded, "Yeah. I already cheered for you, what more do you need..."

"For you to see this through the end," he said. "You were there when I was practicing. You were there when I was competing. But now you are bailing out on me when it's time to celebrate my victory. Why? Because you don't like being in a crowd?"

"Well...you know I hate mingling with too many people. It's not me. In this party, I will need to at least say hello to anyone who will come near me." I sighed. "Look, if I go to that party and look like a fish out of water...if my awkward ass will be there while showing that I am not enjoying even one moment of that party, won't that ruin the fun for you and your team? I just don't want you to come to me at that party and ask why I attended when I am miserable there..."

"But I need you there," Robin discarded the magazine he was reading to sit properly on the bed. He stretched his body to reach for my hand. "Uncle and Gilbert won't be there because they have a meeting with someone important. At least be there to be representative of my family...even though you don't want to be there to be my boyfriend."

I felt my body going still. "Your...w-what?"

Robin grinned at me. "Why? Aren't you my boyfriend? We are kissing. We sleep together even though it's the innocent type. We live together. Come to think of it, we are just one step behind Uncle and Gilbert."

"Are you crazy?!" I pulled my hand from his hold. "We are not boyfriends!"

Robin rolled his eyes. "And pray tell me what we are? Are we still simple housemates?"

What are we? Truly...what are we?

Ugh! This is...so sudden.

"Nevermind what we are. You want me to be there to represent our family? Fine! Count me in! Where is that invitation? What do I need to bring? Should I bring a congratulatory gift to you team? Tell me!"

Robin's face lightened up with amusement. "Are you panicking and saying yes to coming to my team's party while you eyes are bulging like they are about to jump out of you skull because you don't want to discuss label with me?" He looked highly entertained.
