(ROBIN)
My Uncle gave his permission for Blu to stay over at his bestfriend's place for the weekend. I don't like that decision but I was not given a vote in it so...Uncle's will prevail. Besides, Blu didn't object so I think he likes that decision. Which just sours my mood even further.
"But it's just for a weekend, right?" I mumbled while lying on Blu's bed as he pack for this stay over trip or whatever. I have a stress ball in my hand that I throw upward and catching it on its way down.
I am stressed so I have a stress ball in hand. It's not rocket science.
"Yes," Blu replied while rummaging on his shirt drawer. "You will have the sole position of grumpy teenager in this house while I am gone,"
That made me chuckle, "I am the sole grumpy teenager in this house even if you are here..." I reminded him.
"True," Blu went back to his open backpack carrying shirts. I frowned at the number of clothes he is packing. "Are you sure you are packing for a weekend stay over or you are thinking of moving there? Why are you packing too much clothes? I think they won't fit on your backpack."
"Yeah, I think so too." Blu nodded with a sigh. "Well, I have to pack several pair of clothes because Tita Patty is hinting that she and AnneMarie want to watch a movie this weekend so I have to have something to wear when we go out. Then I also have to pack my sleepwears..."
Speaking of sleeping..,
"Where do you sleep when you are staying over there?" I asked curiously.
Blu hesitated for a second before answering. "In AnneMarie's room. Tito Dennis puts air on an inflatable bed and..."
"Unacceptable!" His answer made me sit up and squeeze that stress ball hard in my fist. "You are not leaving this house," I shook my head.
Blu sighed. "Stop overreacting. AnneMarie and I are used to sleeping in one room..."
Blu stopped when he got a look on my face. I don't know how I look but if my feelings are well reflected on my face then not good. Because I am feeling pissed off.
"You know, you have no rights to tell me what I can or cannot do," Blu said before turning away like he thinks that's the end of it.
He clearly doesn't know me.
"Think again," I said on his back. "I can make this as ugly as you want it to be, Blu. Believe me...one false but highly believable panic attack and Uncle won't let anyone on this penthouse to leave for some stupid sleepover."
Blu visibly grew still. Then he tilt his head upward like he is asking the heavens for some patience because I frustrate him. Well, I feel frustrated too. Just thinking of him and his bestfriend sleeping in one room is enough to send me to angerville.
Am I jealous? Maybe. Am I being unreasonable? Most probably. Do I care? Yes, I care a lot...about Blu. I care for Blu. With those in mind, am I backing down? No! Hell no!
Blu won't sleep in the same room as AnneMarie.
Period.
Blu pivoted to look at me. I met his gaze daringly. I am determined to have my way in this. Blu can stay in his bestfriend's house, but he won't sleep on the same room as that AnneMarie.
