(BLU)

I was ordered to go home early. Robin asked for a special permission to get excused for the rest of the day as well. He intended to drive me home.

I hugged my bag while stealing glance at Robin as we joined the after lunch traffic in the highway. Contrary to how relaxed he was while driving yesterday, what's with all the whistling and humming, Robin now looked problematic.

He kept his eyes on the road. Seeming lost in his own thoughts. One hand on the wheel while his other elbow was propped on the window and Robin's temple rest on his bent hand.

He got the same pose like the other day, but nothing in Robin's form now screams peace and relaxation.

I think it's my fault. And I think I should be saying something to break the silence between us.

I cleared my throat and swallowed before speaking. "I don't know why I fainted. Like I said, there was a loud bang when the flask on the other other exploded and I..."

"And you are scared of sudden loud sound. I know..." Robin sighed.

"That. I am..." I frowned as I tried to remember when I told him that I am scared of loud noises. "I think that was when we stayed in a hotel because Mr.Akage and Mr.Gilbert were fighting." I said.

"Yes." Robin agreed like he followed the train of my thoughts. "That time Gilbert thrashed the whole kitchen by throwing everything to Uncle. Including a gun and a whole chicken."

I winced at that memory. The poor penthouse kitchen. And that chicken. Wow.

"It was really a loud sound," I said, a bit defensively. "And I fainted..."

"Good thing you didn't hit your head when you fell down," Robin said.

"Yes. That's a good thing." I sighed.

"Your colors has came back too," Robin commented.

"Yes. It did." I sighed, feeling frustrated at our topic. "Sorry for worrying you..." I apologized again.

Robin just hummed. I turned my head to stare at him. "You...uhm...were really worried. Ricky said you ran all the way to the infirmary."

Robin hummed again. I am losing hope for the both of us. I closed my eyes and tried to think of something to say to move this conversation along.

And what entered my head was a sure way to move things along.

"I think I love you, Robin."

"I'm taking AnneMarie to dinner tomorrow night." Robin said at the same time.

"Wait! What?!" We both turned to each other. "Oi!" I shouted when Robin almost lost control of the wheel. Robin's fast reflexes showed themselves and he managed to right the car before swerving right to park it on a curb.

"What did you say?" Robin gave me a wide eyed shocked look.

"No. You first. What are you doing with AnneMarie tomorrow night?" I cannot believe that what I heard was right.

"Forget about her!" Robin exclaimed in urgency. "Tell me those words you said again. Say them again."

"I love you," I said while staring into Robin's eyes. "I punched you already and Mr.Gilbert said, he is an expert in loving an Akage, said the sure way you know that you love an Akage was when you started feeling like wanting to kill them. Well, last night I got close...to wanting to kill you."

Robin frowned at me. "That's how Gilbert...what?"

I sighed, "You wouldn't understand. It's a complicated matter of accepting the fact that you love someone annoying and probably bad for you but you also know you cannot be without that person so you just learn to curb your instinct to punch their face. It's frustrating, I'll give you that."
