(ZANE AKAGE)

"This is impossible," I said in pure wonder as I down look at my nephew, sleeping deeply in his bed, with almost all of the lights on his room turned off and his door closed tight shut.

Beside my nephew, my ward is sleeping soundly as well. There's only about half a foot distance between the two boys but there they are...sleeping together peacefully.

Minutes ago, Gilbert and I finally had the courage to check on Robin's room to see what the two boys are up to. We only caught snippets of their conversation in Blu's room before Robin burst out of it in glee and excitement.

When we connected the clues, we learned that Robin decided to go do an experiment. He invited Blu to sleep on his room and turned off the lights and close his room's door.

My nephew tried, and obviously, succeeded in sleeping in a closed room with the lights off.

Something Robin has never done, and cannot do, since his kidnapping happened.

"This is impossible," I repeated before a smile split my lips. "But it is happening. Gilbert...can you see this?"

"Yes, Master Zane...a miracle has finally happened to our Master Robin." Gilbert also sounded disbelieving but there is hope that can be heard in his tone.

"Let's slowly get out before we disturb their sleep," I said to Gilbert who agreed with me. Slowly and surely, we tiptoed out of Robin's room and softly close the door shut.

I looked at Gilbert and smile widely at him. I can barely contain my happiness, "Pour us some bourbon, Gilbert. I want to celebrate tonight."

"Will do, Master Zane." Gilbert followed with a smile on his face as he moved to the liquor cabinet in the living room to get our drinks.

I settled on the long sofa and stare at the wide blank screen of the flat TV mounted on the wall.

"Here you go, Sir." Gilbert handed me a tumbler filled with dark amber bourbon. He is holding a glass on his own hand. I raised my glass towards him. "To my nephew, may Robin get well soon." I offered those words as a toast.

Gilbert kissed his glass against mine. "To Master Robin." He said and we both drank deeply from our drinks.

I let the bourbon swirl on my mouth before I swallowed it. Savoring it's clean and expensive taste and the slight burn in my throat when I swallowed it.

It's both sweet and bitterly good at the same time. I relaxed on my seat and regarded Gilbert who stood beside the long sofa. "It will not be long and Robin will get well again. He will be normal again. I can see it now, Gilbert. All my dreams, coming true."

"Congratulations, Master Zane." Gilbert offered his felicitations humbly.

"I knew that Blu is special. Both Robin and I knew that. But what we never expected is his profound effect on Robin when he is up close to my nephew. If I had only known, I would have brought Blu here sooner." I said with a little regret on my tone.

"No one could have predicted this, Master Zane. We should stop looking at the negative side and concentrate on the positive. At this rate, Master Robin will go back to his old self very soon." Gilbert equipped wisely.

I stared at our butler. "We must make sure that Blu stays with us until Robin gets fully healed. The two of them must never learn of what happened in the past or the circumstances on the death of Blu's parents." I said gravely.
