(BLU)

I was full of nervous energy when I stepped off the car Mr.Akage prepared to be my ride.

"Young Master Blu, sent a message to Mr.Gilbert when it's time for you to go home so he can alert me." The kind driver said.

I flushed a bit when he called me "young master". Robin is the young master...I am just adopted per se to that family.

But I nodded and politely thanked my driver before I stepped away from the car. It drove away and I was left there in front of the History Hall where the ball will commence. I stepped aside as more cars arrived bearing ball attendees.

I hesitated on my stand. I am not sure of what I am doing really. I am not sure anymore why I am here and why I decided to attend this ball.

Is it time to blame Mr.Gilbert for convincing me to come here?

Oh...

"Blu!" I flinched when someone called my name loudly. I look around and saw AnneMarie walking with her father, Tito Dennis.

"Blu," AnneMarie, beautiful in a yellow ball gown with all the ribbons and big skirt, held out a gloved hand at me. Her hair is braided loosely with tiny flowers and ribbons pinned there. She looks absolutely mezmerising.

I gladly took that hand, she has always been a kind of anchor for me. I feel less nervous when she is near.

"You look beautiful," I said to her.

"Thank you." AnneMarie flushed prettily. "And you look handsome yourself, dear Sir. I love the rose," AnneMarie's other hand gently touched the rose corsage pinned on my chest.

"Thanks," I don't know about the accuracy of the praise but I will take it. I look at AnneMarie's father. "Good evening, Sir."

"Happy to see you, Blu." Tito Dennis patted my shoulder. "I hope you will look after your bestfriend. You children have fun but in a safe way..."

"Dad, this is a school event, not a club. The ballroom will swarm with teachers who will guard us like hawks or prison guards. Fat chance we will get in trouble with them around," AnneMarie almost rolled her eyes on her father.

"Still, you should be careful young lady. I am glad Blu is with you. Your Mom and I swear, Blu is a sobering influence on you." Tito Dennis smiled at me. "I think you and your bestfriend had a personality switch. She was supposed to be the behave one."

"I am behave," AnneMarie argued.

"She behaves," I agreed. "Most of the time..." I added to tease her.

"Blu!" AnneMarie gave me a genuine shocked look. Tito Dennis and I laughed at her funny reaction. "Dad!" She pouted at her father.

"Okay...okay...you are behave," Tito Dennis kissed AnneMarie's cheek lightly. "Have fun tonight, my beautiful princess. And Blu," Tito Dennis smiled at me. "In behalf of your parents, I feel proud. You are turning out to be a fine man. Your parents will be proud to see you like that."

"Thank you, Sir." I lowered my head. I feel kinda overwhelm at what he said. Mentioning my parents.

Tito Dennis hummed and patted my shoulder again before he urged us to get it. "Go on, you two. Have a fun night. Sweetheart, message me so I can pick you up. Okay?" He said to AnneMarie.

"I will Dad. Thank you," we waved at Tito Dennis as he left us. Then I offered my elbow at AnneMarie and smile at her. "Come on, my not date." I winked at her.
