(BLU)

I noticed Robin's lack of appetite during dinner. It's a shame because his uncle ordered our food from a famous restaurant with rave reviews on magazines and social media.

And those rave reviews are well earned. The food are great. Their creamy seafood salad is phenomenal and the baby backribs were to die for. I enjoyed our dinner well.

My only complaint was Mr.Gilbert not joining us for dinner at first. Mr.Akage said it's not done for Mr.Gilbert to join us for meals.

"Why? Why is he not allowed to eat with us?" I asked, full of curiosity on my tone.

"Because he is the butler," Robin replied sullenly. "He works for us. He is not one of us."

I scowled at him. "Do you actually believe that? Mr.Gilbert told me that he has been working for your family for eight years now. That's almost half your life, Robin. In my point of view, that makes him practically a family member..."

"But I am not a member of their family, Blu." Mr.Gilbert gave me a dismayed look. "Please, stop it now." He pleaded with me to stop.

I gave my guardian and his nephew disappointed looks. I cannot believe this is how rich people treat their loyal employee. I started pushing my food around my plate. I think I lost my appetite already.

Mr.Akage noticed my sullenness. He sighed. "This is really an issue for you? That Gilbert is not joining us for dinner?"

"Yes," I straightened on my sit and nodded gravely. "And also the way he dresses. Why does he always look like he is going to leave to go to his office job? What's up with the tie?" I gave Mr.Gilbert a questioning look.

Mr.Gilbert looked down at himself. "Well, in fairness to me...this is my work. And the kitchen just one of my many offices so it's fitting that I wear a tie while cooking." The good butler said.

"There you go," Robin nodded in satisfaction with that explanation. "Anymore issue, Blu?" He gave me a mocking look.

Oh I got a lot more. That's me, a body filled with issues.

"You said he is not sitting with us because he is not part of the family. Well, what about me?" I asked my guardian and Robin. "I am not an Akage. Why am I allowed to sit on this table and share my meals with you?"

"Because you are my ward. That makes you an honorary member of this family," Mr.Akage explained.

I sneered, "This family that treats their employee like they belong in a lower class than them?" I don't think I want to be a part of this family.

"They are in a lower class," Robin replied irritably. "Don't sit there and think that the people we provided salaries with are the same as us. They are not family, they are not as rich as us. They are not us..."

I glared at Robin, "You do realize that you sound like a total douchebag, right?"

"And do you realize that you sound like a delusional crusader for the lower class people? It's a sad reality Blu, but the truth is people are still categorized according to their class, the criteria mainly about their family's status and money. We are rich, therefore we are in the upper class. Anyone working for us are in the lower class. Anyone poorer than us belongs to a class under ours. That's the sad truth. That's what the society dictates..."

I hate his logic.

"Then I guess I should stop joining your meals because heaven knows I am poorer than you, Robin. Therefore, according to your logic, I belong to the lower class. So starting tomorrow, I will take my meals with Mr.Gilbert. I think his status is closer to mine. I sure cannot reach the high status of the Akages." I said mockingly.
