(BLU)

I followed Robin's steps with my eyes as he turned to the master's hallway leading to his old room. He went to the wrong room. Huh? Maybe Robin is really tired and I wonder if he is feeling ill if he is making such simple mistakes.

"Blu," I turned my head when AnneMarie called my name. She suddenly appeared two hours after luncheon. I was pleasantly surprised by her visit but still felt shy because well...the last time AnneMarie was in the penthouse was during Robin's eventful pool party. That one was chaos personified.

So after admitting her, I suggested that we go to a nearby cafe or anywhere else we can talk but Mr.Gilbert stopped us as he is curious to meet and talk with my bestfriend. And that's why AnneMarie has spent the better part of the afternoon with us.

She also asked Mr.Gilbert if I can spend a weekend in her home, as we used to do that during school vacations.

Mr.Gilbert smiled, "I will ask Blu's guardian if he will permit Blu to have a stayover in your place. I'm only a glorified butler here..."

"Hardly a butler. You are family," I said to Mr.Gilbert who eyed me fondly.

AnneMarie regaled Mr.Gilbert with stories about our adventures together since we became bestfriends. Mr.Gilbert served us snacks and divulge some information about Robin. Mundane stuffs about AnneMarie's crush.

I told Mr.Gilbert about that.

"AnneMarie has a huge crush on Robin," I said.

"Really?" Mr.Gilbert looked at my bestfriend for confirmation.

AnneMarie laughed awkwardly. "Not a huge crush. Just a little..."

I gave her a stunned look. "You made us fold thousands of paper hearts and did that rooftop...aw..." I winced painfully when she pinched my sides.

AnneMarie gave me a warning look. "Just a little crush, right Blu? Please..." she said that last part while gritting her teeth.

I sighed as I sidled away from her violent fingers. "Just a little crush. Not huge at all..." I mumbled to Mr.Gilbert.

Mr.Gilbert laughed at our antics. He invited AnneMarie for dinner that she graciously accepted.

So there, we had an interesting afternoon until Robin arrives. And now AnneMarie has called my name.

"What?" I gave her an inquiring look.

My bestfriend frowned at me. "I was asking when your guardian will arrive?"

My eyes automatically flew to the big ornately designed clock decorating a wall in the living room. "About half an hour still. He will be here soon," I said as a reply.

Mr.Gilbert entered back into the living room from, I guess, placing Robin's wet clothes in the laundry room. "I think it's time to start dinner preparations. Do you two want to be useful and help me cook dinner?"

AnneMarie nodded in excitement, "That will be fun. I know my way in the kitchen. My mom loves to cook."

"Great, you get a pass to help. Blu?" Mr.Gilbert turned his eyes on me.

"Oh yeah," I said distractedly. I stood up from the long sofa where I am sitting with AnneMarie. "But first I have something I need to ask Robin. I think I will ask him now."
