"What do you mean it isn't advisable for us to change our names?" Robin asked a staff in the Admin's office with curiosity.
Its Monday and the time found me and Robin both in the Admin office as we try to change our name in the school registry. I decided to take the Akage name since nothing could dispute the fact that Mr.Akage and Mr.Gilbert has adopted me. Might as well use it for that one reason.
The other reason why I want to use the name Akage is to force Robin to give it up. Mr.Akage said that articles will soon be released about the new management on the Akage businesses and with that, naming me as the Akage heir since I am the adoptive son of the current chairman. That'll mean soon enough, the world will know that Robin is not the assumptive heir to Mr.Akage's fortune.
Boo hoo to him. He won't get any sympathy from me.
That's why I am here, in the Admin office to try to change the name on my school's documents. Instead of Bluejay Tañada, it'll be Bluejay Akage. It sounded weird but I'll take it for now.
But the Admin officer is telling us that we cannot change the names on our record now.
"It's the middle of the school year. It'll be too much work for all of us if you two will change your name in the middle of a school year. If you want to change your names in your school records, you do it BEFORE the school year start. You can do it next year. And be sure to ask your parents or guardians to coordinate with the school because we will ask the necessary documents to correct all your records. But for now, no can do," the Admin officer smiled at us despite his eyes telling us we are stupid to even ask them to do this for us.
"Ah shit," Robin grumbled.
"Language, Mr.Akage." The Admin manager shook her head at us while giving us pointed looks. "You have your answers, now go back to your classes, all of you."
"It's the afternoon break," Tim said.
"Then go have your break outside, Mr.Mendes." The Admin manager shooed us until we had no choice but to leave their office.
AnneMarie stood next to me. "I still cannot believe that Mr.Akage adopted you. And that Robin is not really an Akage." She did sound baffled by the whole thing.
"Correction, I am still an Akage. At least until the end of the school year," Robin kicked his feet and a small peeble flew.
I took AnneMarie's hand. "Come on, I don't like the smell in here." I said while pulling my bestfriend's hand.
"Did something happened between the two of you? I don't know, I just get this vibe that you two are in a fight against each other. Am I right?" Xavier asked. Tim and Xavier are Robin's classmates and teammates in the Swimming Team. They accompanied Robin in the Admin's office just like AnneMarie is my company.
"No," I said.
"Yes," Robin replied at the same time. He smirked at me. "Why do you keep lying and saying that nothing happened? We broke up, that's something."
"Oh did we break up? I thought it was just you kissing another guy in Japan. Right before my face." I said sardonically.
"You jerk," AnneMarie scowled at Robin. "I knew you will do this to Blu. Hurt his feelings."
"That's not the whole thing," Robin snarled at AnneMarie before glaring at me. "Care to explain to your angry bodyguard that me kissing another guy is about the most inconsequential thing that happened in Japan?" He asked in a daring tone.
He is unbelievable. "Do you want us to tell them everything? Really? 'Coz that'll be fine to me. I'm just not sure about you," I sneered at Robin.
