(ROBIN)
I looked up from watching footages on our last swim meet when a drained looking Blu entered the open door of my room. Blu slowly made his way to my bed where I am lounging to put his arms around me and press his face on my shoulder.
"Hey, are you allowed to do this? It's still early? We will both get in trouble..." Blu is violating Uncle's punishment on us right now. We were supposed to be keeping a distance between us. Which is stupid. It's a stupid punishment and trust my Uncle to come up with something like it.
"I don't care," Blu mumbled gloomily before snuggling tighter against me. I sighed, "Was it that bad?" I asked while caressing his hair. I am of course asking about his visit to his bestfriend's home.
Blu and Uncle went to the Montemayor to pick up AnneMarie's laptop and to make sure every evidence of the blackmail materials she used against us will be deleted. They went there after breakfast and it looks like the visit did something to Blu's psyche.
"Her eyes were puffy from too much crying. She looked pale and miserable. I hate seeing her that way," Blu sniffed.
I don't know what to say to that. Well, I know what I would say but I also know Blu will object if I blatantly say that his bestfriend deserve whatever misery she is in right now. That's one of the things I learned during this debacle. Not because I dislike one person doesn't mean no one thinks preciously of them. Like they say, even criminals have families who cherish them.
I think I have to start being nice. I want some good karma. And I want the good karmas I will accumulate to go to Blu. I don't want anyone or anything hurting Blu. I might go crazy if Blu gets hurt.
"Robin," I woke up from mussing when Blu tapped my shoulder. He gave me a puzzled look, "What are you thinking about that you zoned out on me?"
"Nothing much. Just good karmas," I said.
"Good karmas?" Blu frowned. "I don't understand?"
I patted his cheek, "I think I have to do more good deeds to earn more good karmas." I said.
"Ah..." I think Blu is finally getting it. "But you have a reputation for being a cold jerk. And what's worse, even if you have that image, lots of people still has a crush on you and likes you. If you start doing good deeds and be nice, your cold jerk image will suffer."
"I'm not a cold jerk. I'm just aloof," I said.
"Uhmmmm, no." Blu shook his head. "I'm pretty sure you're a cold jerk."
"Wow, and you professed to love me yet you think like that about me?"
"I love you but I am not blind to your shortcomings. I exposed to them early on our acquiantanceship." Blu said. "And it's okay, I don't need an overly friendly boyfriend who high five everyone and act like he is close to everybody. I like you just fine as you are," Blu patted my chest while nodding with that pleased smile on his lips.
"I see," I chuckled at that.
Then Blu's smile vanished to be replaced by a worried look on his eyes. "Robin, speaking of doing a good deed..."
"What?"
Blu moved to sit crosslegged beside me. He cleared his throat and gave me a puppy eyed look. "Can you do me a favor?"
"What now? Your debt on me are stacking up. I'm reminding you that I still have my wishes and that last favor you asked from me. I'll collect them all, Blu." I intend do collect all his debts to me.
"I know! I know..." Blu nodded fast. "But I really really need you to do this one thing for me. Please," Blu showed me a forefinger and then pursed his lower lip in a begging look.
