(ZANE AKAGE)

I agreed for Blu to meet with his bestfriend and her parents. It's cruel to enforce a distance between Blu and AnneMarie when they served their penance and has been both obedient for two weeks. Blu has kept to the penthouse. He spent his suspension reading books, helping Gilbert around the house, visiting his parents' graves, calling his aunt, calling friends, copying notes of lessons he missed and dating Robin.

Blu has kept his head down and it's just cruel if the reward he will receive is more separation from his bestfriend.

Likewise, AnneMarie has behaved well. She talks to her psychologist four times a week and worked on her issues. Mr.Montemayor and I have been keeping abreast on news about our respective child/ward. The Montemayors has been asking after Blu and in return, I have been asking updates on Blu's bestfriend.

That is why I had made the decision that it is quite safe for Blu to meet AnneMarie, even though the meeting will be brief.

It is Friday, I left the office early to pick Gilbert, Robin and Blu from the penthouse. We will eat out and on our way, we will stop at a hospital where AnneMarie usually goes to meet her psychologist. Blu and AnneMarie will see each other on the hospital's lobby. The meeting should last ten minutes top and from then on we will see what will happen.

It will all depends on how Blu and AnneMarie will act after their reunion.

"Are you sure you don't want to step down from the car and come with us inside the hospital?" I asked Robin once we have parked the car outside the agreed meeting place.

"Yes. I'll stay here," Robin sounded surly. I think he has issues with Blu being all hyped up and excited upon seeing his bestfriend again but I think the boys had already discussed it because Blu gave my nephew a teasing light punch on Robin's shoulder. "You are not supportive at all," said Blu who kept on grinning since we left the penthouse for this drive. I think nothing can snatch away the boy's good mood.

"Say hello to her for me," Robin mumbled before taking out his phone from his pocket and going busy on it. My nephew is done talking about this. I looked at Gilbert. "How about you?"

My lover smiled at me. "I'll stay here to guard Master Robin. Say hello to the Montemayors for me. And give them the mini cinammon rolls I made for AnneMarie."

"We will," I nodded and looked at Blu. "Ready?"

"Yes," Blu nodded. My ward gave Robin a kiss on my nephew's cheek before he excitedly hopped off from the car. I followed Blu while carrying Gilbert's gift for the girl.

The Montemayors were not yet on the hospital's lobby when we got there. Blu fidgeted while standing beside me. I sighed, "Keep still Blu, or they may think we are here to cure you of something."

"Oh, sorry Sir. I feel excited I think I will take a leak right here."

"If you do that, tell them we are not together and we don't know each other," I said blandly.

Blu chuckled before his breath hitched as he saw a figure some distance from us. I followed his gaze and found the Montemayors who just exited an elevator. They stood with their daughter between them.

I nodded to the Montemayor who urged AnneMarie to step forward. The girl took one step before raising an arm and waving at Blu. Blu looked at me. I nodded to him. Blu gave me a bright smile before he took off in a run towards his bestfriend.

Seeing Blu running prompted AnneMarie to run as well. The two bestfriends met in the middle and hugged tight. Blu even lifted AnneMarie off the floor in his exuberance. After what feels like a lifetime, the two separated and they started talking over each other. AnneMarie's parents and I moved closer and we caught some of the things Blu and AnneMarie are saying...
