Blu was quiet the whole morning as we got ready for school in the hotel room. The housekeeping in the hotel did a great job of laundering our uniforms. The clothes we slept in, Blu stashed neatly on a shopping bag that we can take home later after school.

Last night, after the kisses we shared, Blu remained stubbornly quiet. His eyes conveyed that he will surely leave me in that hotel if I even squeak a word about that happened...so in a rare moment, I decided to play this smart and I kept my silent as well.

Surprisingly, we both slept fine and woke up rested this morning. We ordered breakfast in the room and ate together quietly. Took turns on the bathroom to get ready for school. Someone called me to say that my car is already on the hotel's parking lot. We will use that to get to school.

I messaged my Uncle, asked if he is working. Uncle texted me back, he is at work. I asked how was last night and is Gilbert still working for us. Uncle sent me long message...

"Gilbert won't leave us. Trust me. More importantly, trust Gilbert. Now, I want you and Blu to go to school, stay out of trouble and get home on time for dinner. Gilbert and I need to talk to you both. Changes are coming into the penthouse so I want you and Blu to be updated on those..."

Uncle is being dramatic. What changes will happen in the penthouse? He said not to worry and the changes are coming? He needs to make up his mind. Is everything okay or everything is changing? I am not good at adjusting.

But whatever those changes are I doubt that it includes Gilbert deciding to be open about their relationship. Gilbert is fiercely conservative and I think him and my Uncle has deep issues that cannot be fixed in just one night of being alone together.

Nah...maybe Uncle will say that things are shifting a bit but it will all go back to normal. Nothing to be worried about.

And that's what I will do...

Not worry about my Uncle and Gilbert because I have another person to worry about.

Blu.

I frowned when I saw Blu with his bestfriend, AnneMarie, and more of their classmates in the cafeteria during lunch break. Blu and his cohorts are already seated in a long table with their lunch trays, eating and talking. Blu is seated next to AnneMarie who is sitting at the edge of the long bench.

I look at my companions, Tim and Xavier. Xavier is my classmate, also in the swimming team. We saw Tim on the way here to the cafeteria and dragged him to eat with us. We are all carrying lunch trays with food.

"Lets look for a place to sit," Tim said while looking around the pretty crowded cafeteria.

I look across from us, to Blu's table, and decided where I will sit. "Here is good," I said while pointing at the table with the clearest and straightforward view on Blu's table.

Tim and Xavier look at me before looking down at people sitting and eating at the table I chose.

"What? How will we seat here? Do you want me to sit on this guy's lap?" Xavier said while pointing at the guy sitting in front of him.

Xavier's tone was a bit loud and the people on the table I chose look at us. The guy Xavier pointed out wince at us.

I sighed and pass my tray to Tim who was caught off guard and almost dropped my tray and his. I ignored his expletive cursing while I fished out my wallet to get some money. I crouched a bit to look at the faces of the group of people sitting on the table I desire to have.

"I will pay you all to vacate this table," I said without preamble. "Deal?"

"How much?" The guy, I think he is a junior, asked interestedly.
