Tagaytay
The view of Mt.Taal, the second most active volcano in the Philippines, is breathtaking. It's crater looks like a lake within a volcano within a lake. It was amazing how it came to be that way after it last erupted some 40 years ago. Mt.Taal is one of the most visited tourist spot in the country and it's beauty is a good reason enough why many wants to see it.
I was afforded this view because Master Zane took me here in Tagaytay and he got a VIP room for us in this hotel resort. The time is quarter to seven, the sun has shone itself and it bathed lights to the precious view spread in front of my eyes.
"Impressed?" Master Zane's voice mixed with my thoughts.
I turned my head sideways when he joined me in the balcony. I smiled at him. "Yes. The view is truly spectacular. Can we go there, Master?" I asked curiously while pointing at the crater of the volcano.
"Not today, pet." Master Zane said regretfully as he caressed my hair. "We have a different agenda for coming here. Maybe next time. We will take the boys with us and we will have a picnic close to the lake. I will even rent a boat so we can all see the volcano's crater personally. But for now, it can't happen. I'm sorry..."
"Don't be, Master. I am glad you took me here. I will look forward to your promise that we will visit again with Master Robin and Blu." I said.
Master Zane smile and he pulled me close to his chest with a hug. "I promise it will happen," he said before kissing my forehead.
I gingerly lean my head on his collarbone as I eyed the view of the volcano again. The air blowing around smells cool and fresh. It's coming from the mountain and lakes surrounding the hotel. This air is very different from the air in the city. I prefer this fresh provincial air than the heavy polluted air in Manila.
Speaking of Manila...
"How do you think the boys are doing, Master?" I asked, only a bit worried.
"I just called Robin. He told me that he and Blu ate some cereal and now they will try to get a little bit more of sleep. Blu is already in his room while Robin is reading on his bedroom. They are fine, pet. Don't worry..."
I leaned out of his embrace to look up at his face. "I am not really worried, Master. But I do wonder how the boys are coping up while they are alone in the penthouse."
"They are apparently doing well. They are both breathing and the penthouse is still standing. They haven't burn it yet." Master Zane chuckled before kissing my cheek. "Now, take your mind off the teenagers we left in Manila and focus on me and our meeting with these loaners." Master Zane's smile turned to a scowl. "Remind me again, why did I agree to drive down here to meet people asking to borrow money from my bank?"
"Because you think it's a sound investment." I said. "You think that investing in hotel resorts is a lucrative business."
"Right," Master Zane sighed. "Well, they better impress me."
I nodded. "They better," I agreed. It's hard but if a person managed to impress Zane Akage, he will invest heavily on you or in any project. Money won't be a question. Sky is the limit.
But fail to impress him, you won't see a dime of Akage money. Anger him and you are done for.
If anyone will ask me for an advice, there's only one advice I can give to them. Run away. Never make or take a deal from an Akage.
