Steve: *leans on the doorway* Hey, Nat.

Natasha: *looks up from her phone and smiles at him* Hey, you're back from your mission already?

Steve: *returns the smile and nods* Yeah, just now. Have you seen the kids?

Natasha: *looks up from her phone* Oh yeah. Tony decided to take them swimming by the lake near their cabin.

Steve: When are they coming back?

Natasha: Later. Oh, by the way, before I forget... you got a dare from captasha24.

Steve: Oh, what is it?

Natasha: You gotta fake your death.

Steve: Haven't we done this already?

Natasha: *shrugs* I lost track.

Steve: Alright, fine. Let's do it.

Natasha: Does anyone know you're back?

Steve: No, just you. And Sam, of course, since he was with me.

Natasha: Then this is a great opportunity to set the dare up. We'll get Sam in on it and I'll mess with FRIDAY in case Tony asks for a vitals check.

Steve: Wait, why FRIDAY? It's not like Tony put chips on us like he does to his suit.

Natasha: *slowly raises an eyebrow*

Steve: He does?

*later*

Tony, Morgan, Sania, and James: *arrive back at the compound*

Tony and Morgan: *bring the bags inside*

Natasha: *walks out the compound and smiles at them* Hey, kiddos. Did you guys have fun?

Sania and James: *rush up to her*

Sania: James tripped and fell in the lake the moment we got there.

James: You said you wouldn't tell! *frowns*

Sania: *sticks her tongue out*

Natasha: *chuckles at them*

James: Where's daddy?

Natasha: On a mission, sweetie. He'll be back soon though, maybe later.

Natasha, James, and Sania: *glance up when they hear a noise*

Sam: *flying beside the Quinjet*

Sania: *smiles widely* I think that's daddy!

Natasha: *sees the holographic Steve in the Quinjet*

James: Oh yeah, I think I see him there, flying the -

Natasha, James, and Sania: *jump when the Quinjet suddenly explodes*

Sam: *spirals downwards into the river*

Sania and James: *shriek in horror*
