Natasha and Steve: *going inside the building a quarter to midnight*
Natasha: *yawns* I'm so tired. I just wanna jump onto the bed and fall asleep, and nothing is preventing me from doing so.
Steve: *chuckles and walks into the kitchen* Hey, I'm gonna grab some food. I'm starving. Do you want -
Natasha: *already went inside their bedroom door*
Steve: Oh, okay then. *spots a fire alarm nearby, thinks for a moment, and activates it*
Avengers: *kick their doors open when the alarms start blaring, and rush outside of the building*
Natasha: *gets out of their bedroom with a scowl, goes to their kids' bedroom, and drags them out with her*
Sania and James: *sleeping peacefully in Natasha's arms*
Everyone except Steve: *out of the building*
Tony: Hey... wait a minute...
Sam: Where's the fire?
Steve: *calls out from inside the building* FRIDAY?
FRIDAY: Yes, Captain Rogers?
Steve: Immediately initiate lockdown, please.
Bucky: *yawns* I don't see any fi -
FRIDAY: Right away, sir. *initiates lockdown and locks everyone except Steve out of the building*
Avengers outside the facility: *shocked*
Tony: Hey... where's Steve?
Natasha: *hands the kids to Sam*
Sam: *holds on to them* Why me?
Natasha: *stomps up to the locked doors* STEVEN GRANT ROGERS!
Steve: *smirks at them through the window*
Natasha: *picks up a stone*
Tony: That's not gonna work. You'll only scratch the gla -
Natasha: *throws the stone at the window*
Steve: *chuckles when the stone bounces off*
Natasha: *curses at him*
Steve: *mouths throw the window* I can't hear you, but I'm sorry. This was just a dare from Gabbyromanogers.
Natasha: LET ME IN AND LET ME SLEEP RIGHT NOW OR SO HELP ME I WILL MURDER YOU -
Sania: *shifts and mutters* Mommy?
Natasha: Go back to sleep, baby. Nothing to worry about here.
