Natasha: MuffinLover3000 dares you to leave a dog in the common room for everyone to find.
Steve: *shrugs* Seems easy enough. I'll just let the dog go wherever it wants to go though.
*later*
Steve: *drinking water in the kitchen*
Chow Chow: *sleeping under the table*
Natasha: *walks into the room* I'm home, darling!
Steve: *leans down to kiss her cheek*
Natasha: *spots the sleeping dog and immediately gasps and rushes towards it* Oh my God!
Steve: *doesn't get the chance to kiss her* Hey!
Natasha: *looking at the dog with wide eyes* It's so adorable! Aaaaaah! So, so, so, so, so, so cute!
James: *calls out from the hallway* Mommy?
Natasha: Here in the kitchen, baby. *patting the sleeping dog's head*
James: *runs into the room* Hi, mommy!
Natasha: Come here, baby. Your daddy and I have a surprise for you.
James: *walks towards her* What is it, mommy?
Natasha: *scoots to the side to reveal the dog*
James: A NEW TEDDY?! *runs over to the dog*
Chow Chow: *wakes up because of all the noise and immediately barks at James*
James: *stops in his tracks and accidentaly falls on his butt* A DOG?!
Natasha: *nods*
James: *squeals* Yay! Can I have it?!
Steve: Of course you can have her, buddy!
James: *grins and stares at the dog*
Chow Chow: *stares at him for a long time before licking the side of his face and barking happily*
James: *squeals again and hugs the dog* We gonna be best friends!
Natasha: What are you gonna name the dog?
James: *giggles* Floof.
Natasha and Steve: *glance at each other* Why Floof?
James: *tilts his head to the side* Because she's a little ball of floof!
