Steve: *walks into the lounge and kisses Natasha on the cheek* Hey, I have to go do a dare from Rashford1235, okay?
Natasha: Alright, hun.
Steve: Will you be okay here on your own with James for a while? Nia wanted to come, so...
Natasha: *smiles and nods* Yes, go. We'll be fine, right, Jamie?
James: *nods and continues eating his cookie*
Steve: See you in an hour or so.
*later*
Steve: *stops by a grave in the cemetery and murmurs* Hey, Peg. It's been a while.
Sania: *looks at the grave and raises her eyebrows* Oh, is this what the flowers are for?
Steve: Yes, pumpkin. This is my friend, Peggy.
Sania: *squints as she tries to read the carving* Peggy Carter? As in your friend Peggy, auntie Sharon's aunt?
Steve: *nods*
Sania: *places the flowers on the ground and smiles* Hi, Peggy. It's so nice to finally meet you...
Steve: *looks at her softly*
Sania: *looks up* I've heard a lot of stories about her. She was awesome.
Steve: *chuckles* Yes, she wS.
Was she really your ex or something?
Steve: *shakes his head* We never dated. At some point, maybe we would have, but I missed my chance...
Sania: *frowns* Are you sad about it though?
Steve: I used to be.
Sania: Oh...
Steve: Peggy was wonderful, and I did used to drown in the thoughts of what could've been, but I managed to get over it. Your mom was there for me, and she helped me get through those rough times. That was one of the reasons I fell for her, you know, and besides, if I didn't miss my chance, I wouldn't have gotten you and Jamie, right? *looks at Sania and smiles*
