Sam and Wanda: *pass by Steve*
Sam: Whoa, why are you in a hurry -
Steve: HAVE YOU SEEN NAT?!
Sam: No, I haven't.
Steve: WANDA, HAVE YOU SEEN NAT?!
Wanda: *shrugs and shakes head*
Steve: *gulps*
Sam: Why... what's wrong?
Steve: Are you sure none of you have seen her?
Sam and Wanda: *glance at each other before shaking their heads*
Wanda: Steve... are you okay?
Steve: I... I think Nat's been kidnapped.
Sam: You sure?
Steve: YES I MIGHT BE SURE BECAUSE SHE WOULDN'T HAVE DISAPPEARED INTO NOWHERE RIGHT BEFORE IT'S TIME FOR HER TO TUCK THE KIDS INTO BED!
Sam: I dunno, man. Seems like Nat to just sneak off anytime.
Wanda: *shrugs*
James: *walks out of his room, crying in his bedroom* Mommy?
Steve: *picks James up* Hey, buddy. Mommy is... a little busy but she... she might kiss you good night later, okay?
James: *sniffles* But I want my mommy now...
Steve: *turns to look back at Sam and Wanda expectantly*
Sam: Alright, alright! Let's go, Wanda!
Sam and Wanda: *rush off*
James: *sobs and buries his face on the crook of Steve's neck* I want mommy now...
Steve: *sighs* Alright, buddy.
James: Where is she?
Steve: Don't tell anyone, alright?
James: Okay...
Steve: *walks into their bedroom and opens the closet*
Natasha: *munching on some chips while watching a movie on her phone* Oh, hey guys.
James: *pouts and stretches his hands out at Natasha*
Natasha: *takes him from Steve and kisses his forehead* How's my little man doing?
Steve: By the way, thanks for helping me out on the dare, love.
Natasha: *raises an eyebrow* As far as I know, you literally just told me to help you about a dare from KaeNicks without even giving me time to think about it before shoving me into this closet with a bag of chips, my phone, and a powerbank.
Steve: *gives her a sheepish grin*
