[Newport dunes]
*Picking up from last episode, Nancy and Joey were making out after a huge fight. Nancy let go and lightly pushed Joey away. They both caught their breath, while Nancy looked a little confused as she touched her lips.*
Nancy: Oh my gosh...
Joey: I know.
Nancy: Oh my gosh! What am I doing?!
Joey: Nancy-
Nancy: No no, I shouldn't be here, I don't want to be here!
Joey: What? But-
Nancy: This is all wrong, I'm sorry Joey but I need to leave.
Joey: I thought we worked it out!
Nancy: What, by kissing?! The only thing that I just worked out was my thoughts. I can't be with you, Joey.
Joey: No, don't go!
Nancy: We could never work! My heart belongs to someone else!
*She grabbed her suitcase and ran to the car.*
*It was about 20 minutes later, and Nancy had been in the car for a bit. She was driving home, and it had started to pour rain. She could barely see out of her car. She called Nina from her car phone. She woke her up.*
Nina: *tired* Hello?
Nancy: Hey!
Nina: What's up?
Nancy: I'm on my way home.
Nina: What?! Why?!
Nancy: Because... I kissed Joey.
Nina: WHAT?!
Nancy: I know, I know!
Nina: How-
Nancy: But as soon as I did I knew it was wrong. So I left.
Nina: So... you're just cutting the trip short?
Nancy: Really short.
Nina: Nance- are you sure it's safe?
Nancy: What do you mean?
Nina: Do you not see this weather?! It's loud, and windy, and raining, and I'm pretty sure I just heard thunder!
Nancy: Please, it's fine! I'm a good driver!
Nina: Oh my gosh I just got an alert on my phone, it's a flash flood warning.
Nancy: Yeah, I know I got that one, too.
Nina: Nancy I can't let you drive like this.
Nancy: I'm like a half hour away I'm fine.
Nina: Nancy!
*Nancy sighed.*
Nancy: Okay fine! You're right.
Nina: Thank you.
Nancy: I'll pull over and try to fall asleep in my car for the night.
Nina: Is there a hotel nearby?
Nancy: I couldn't get a room now.
Nina: Okay.
Nancy: I gotta go, bye.
Nina: Bye.
*Nina hung up the phone, and went back to bed, worried. Nancy pulled over, turned off the car, rolled her seat back, and tried to fall asleep. It was very loud, as the rain was hitting her car.*
The Next Morning, 9:00am
[the plaza]
*Nina, Hallie, and Steven were enjoying a nice cup of coffee in a coffee shop. It had stopped raining, but it was wet outside.*
