S5E3: The List

NOVEMBER
3:00am
[Tucker's car]
*Jo and Tucker were driving through downtown LA at night. The road was empty. with the windows down and her feet on the dashboard. He could hear her slightly humming to "rx" by Role Model. He turned it up and he sang along. She smiled and started to sing too. They were both smiling now as they drove though the streets.*

*They had made it back to Jo's house and he parked in front for her to get out.*

Jo: Okay. Top ten best moments of my life.

*He laughed.*

Tucker: Mine too.

Jo: That's going on my list.

Tucker: Your list?

Jo: Mhmm.

Tucker: And, what else is on this list?

Jo: All the kisses I want to share with people.

Tucker: Which ones have you done?

Jo: Number two. A kiss in the rain. With Aaron.

Tucker: Hm.

Jo: It was the first time we ever told each other we loved each other. But it doesn't count.

Tucker: Why not?

Jo: Because it all has to be the same guy. As soon as we break up, the list starts over.

Tucker: What's number one?

Jo: I can't tell you.

Tucker: Sure you can.

*She shook her head.*

Jo: Well I could, but then I'd have to kill you. And I sorta like you.

Tucker: I see.

Jo: Alright. I should go.

Tucker: Okay. Wait! Have I told you lately how much I love you?

Jo: Everyday.

Tucker: That's it? I gotta step up my game.

*She laughed. They kissed, she got out of the car, and ran inside.*

The Next Day
[Nancy and Nathan's house]
*Nancy walked in, and everyone was there. Jo was sitting on Tuckers lap in chair, with her head rested on his shoulder, and his arms wrapped around her stomach. Every once in a while he would plant a kiss on her shoulder.*

Nancy: Hey.

Nina: Hey.

Nathan: Hi babe.

Nancy: Guess what?

Hallie: What?

*Nancy sat down on the couch with them.*

Nancy: My show tonight, canceled.

Jo: Why?

Nathan: Oh no!

Steven: What?

Nancy: Yeah. It's supposed to rain like... all evening.

Nathan: I'm sorry, Nance.

Nina: Oh! Guys.

Jo: Yeah?

Nina: My due date is in exactly one month.

Steven: I thought you were already eight months pregnant?

Nina: I am. I don't know how it works.

Hallie: So, are you getting excited? To have a baby?

Nina: Yeah, I am.

Nathan: Do you have the nursery ready yet?
