JANUARY
Late At Night
[blake's house]
*Steven loudly tumbled through a window. Blake sat up in bed.*
Blake: It's so late.
Steven: I'm sorry. Nina didn't go to bed till late tonight.
Blake: Technically last night by now.
*Steven kissed her.*
Steven: Hi.
Blake: You know, I'm really getting tired of being woken up two hours after I fall asleep every night, and two hours before I want to wake up every morning.
Steven: I know. I'm sorry.
Blake: You know once I wake up I can't fall back asleep.
Steven: Believe me, I'm getting tired of having to do this every night, too.
Blake: So, why don't you just tell her you moved in with me already?
Steven You know why. It's complicated. She'll find a reason to get mad.
Blake: The longer you wait to tell her, the more mad she'll be.
Steven: I know, you're right.
Blake: Especially if she finds out on her own.
Steven: Let's pick up this conversation in the morning. I'm tired.
Blake: In the morning, you mean 5am, when you have to get up to sneak back into her apartment before she wakes up?
Steven: That is correct, yes.
*He laid down in the bed next to her and she turned off the lights.*
The Next Morning
[Jo and Tuckers apartment]
*Jo walked into the living room when she heard keys jingle in the door. Tucker stepped inside. She grew the biggest smile and ran over to him, where he lifted her up and spun her around.*
Jo: I've missed you!
Tucker: I missed you more!
*He had a bouquet of flowers in his hand, and handed them to her.*
Jo: Flowers? Did you do something wrong?
*He laughed.*
Tucker: No. These are 'just because' flowers. Because I love you.
Jo: Never leave me again.
*They kissed, and he put her back down.*
Tucker: Well...
Jo: What?
Tucker: I do have to leave again. This time for the wedding.
*Jo looked sad.*
Tucker: But I get to bring a plus one...
*Her face lit up again.*
Tucker: So I thought of asking Nathan.
*She knew he was joking and playfully pushed his arm. He was laughing.*
Tucker: But when I did, he said he was busy. So you were next on the list. What do ya say?
Jo: I say hell yes.
Tucker: Now we have to make up for lost time. That weekend was too long apart.
Jo: Tell me about it. I got so bored I read a book.
*He held her cheeks in the palm of his hands.*
Tucker: You're adorable.
Jo: I'm serious.
Tucker: There you go again. Adorable.
*He picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. She cackled.*
