S4E15: The End

Night
[the hospital]
*Jo ran through the halls of the hospital. She spotted Nathan and her face immediately broke. Her eyebrows threaded together as he ran to hug her. When she closed her eyes, tears fell out and ran down her face.*

Nathan: *whispering* It's done. It's over.

*Jo cried more in his shoulder.*

That Same Time
[Nina and Steven's apartment]
*Steven walked through the door and Nina came out of her room. His eyes were teary and she put her hand on her chest. She knew the babies were gone. She started to shake her head as her face wrinkled. He nodded and she walked over to him. She started to bawl as they fell to the floor.*

That Same Time
[Hallie's house]
*Hallie dropped the phone and started to sob. She had just heard about the babies.*

The Next Day
[the hospital]
*Hallie walked in with flowers for Nancy, she was asleep so Hallie just put them on the nightstand right next to her. Nathan walked in.*

Nathan: Hey.

Hallie: Oh my gosh.

*She hugged him.*

Hallie: I'm so sorry.

Nathan: Thanks.

Hallie: How is she?

Nathan: She's good. As good as she can be, at least.

*Hallie could tell he felt bad.*

Hallie: Hey, you saved her. You saved her.

*He nodded as a tear fell.*

Later
[the hospital]
*Everyone was chilling in the waiting room. Jo gave Nina a piece of paper.*

Nina: What's this?

Jo: The letter Tucker wrote me.

Nina: He wrote you a letter?

Jo: Uh-huh. He says it's more personal.

Nina: Awwww, that's so romantic.

Jo: I know.

*Nina read it and smiled as she read the loving words.*

Hallie: Where's Steven?

Nina: We got in a fight last night.

Jo: So he's not here?

Nina: He was here this morning.

Hallie: What was the fight about?

Nina: Nothing really. We just fight about everything now.

Jo: Is it ever about the baby?

Nina: No.

Hallie: That's good.

Nina: I guess.

*Jo could tell Nina was hiding something.*

Jo: Nina, what happened last night?

Last Night
[Nina and Steven's apartment]
*Nina walked in, mad. Steven was sitting on the couch, and got up when she walked in.*

Nina: Where were you?

Steven: Huh?

Nina: We were all there... at the hospital. Where your best friend is going to have a misarriage tonight.

Steven: Yeah, I know, Nina!

Nina: Okay so then why weren't you there?! People were asking about you!

Steven: This morning, you told me you didn't want to see me.

Nina: Okay but you weren't supposed to take that literally!
